Description
"They let you into the Injustice League too?" Robin said, seeing one of his greatest enemies there.

Joker merely giggled before saying "What good is a party if you don't bring the real entertainment. But look at you. The bird-boy wonder all on his own. So much has happened while you've been away. Forming your own little Junior Justice League, fighting your own villains, finally getting a decent pair of pants." He laughed at this.

Robin's eye only narrowed while Cyborg aimed his cannon at the trio and said "All right, Bobo. You've got five seconds to tell us what the Injustice League's planning."

"Tsk, Tsk." Joker said, waving his finger. "Sorry, R2-Booboo. No spoilers."

"Then we'll get them from you the hard way!" Robin declared before pulling out his staff and extending it.

Joker chuckled before saying "That's why I missed you so much, kiddo. So stern and righteous. Taking after the Big man himself. Much better than the other one was..."

Robin's eyes widen for a second when he heard this, before he asked "Other one...?"

Before anyone could say more a ruble and the sound of combat could be heard from above.

"Whoops." Joker said. "There's my cue. Love to stay and chat, boys, but I'm more of a lover not a fighter." He giggled before continuing. "But don't worry, I have my playmates here for you." He indicated Red X and Cheshire. "Kids....make daddy proud!"

With that the two leapt to action. While in the air Red X threw at least five  X-shuriken at Robin, who blocked them by spinning his staff before jumping away when X tried to land on top of him. Cyborg saw as Cheshire zipped side to side as she came towards him. He fired once, twice, trying to his her. Suddenly she jumped into the air and landed on his shoulder, kicking him on the side of the head in the process. He stumble back before pulling her off of him. While in his grip, Cheshire suddenly sliced at his shoulder with her claws making him drop her. She jumped into the shadows, making Cyborg aim his cannon and search for her.

"Play nice now, kiddys." Joker said "It's all fun and games before someone losses and eye...or a limb....or a vital organ!"

The Joker gave one final cruel joyous laugh before running off. Robin saw this and tried to follow, but was stopped when Red X suddenly appeared in front of him.

Beast Boy, in the form of a dolphin, and Aqualad were swimming as fast as they could while the massive King Shark chased after them. They swam down one hallway after another, before reaching a dead end. They looked back to see King Shark slowly coming towards them.

"Dead end." Aqaulad stated

"Just like us." BB said, seeing the humanoid shark give a toothy grin as he came closer.

"Any idea?" Aqualad asked

"Before or after I wet myself?"

Just as King Shark was practically on top of the two, an explosion caused the hallway to crumble and cave in, forcing a large amount of debris on King Shark, knocking him out. The two looked in surprise before peering out the massive hole made from the explosion. They could see the ensuing battle between the Leaguers and Black Manta's forces. The two looked to each other and nodded before swimming out to join the fight.

Manta was using a double-ended energy staff, the handle being the stick object he had before, with two red beams on each side. He swung over and over at Aquaman, who he was fighting. Martian Manhunter, now in his normal form, was avoiding one blast after another from Trident. Most of Manta's men were firing weapons at Superman who took them head on, knocking them away and throwing one into another. And Green Lantern was fighting with Sinestro, using his ring to make a green shield against his yellow mace.

As Trident managed to hit Manhunter, knocking him back, Beast Boy, in the form of a hammerhead shark, rammed right into is back, making him drop his weapon. As Trident turned, BB slapped him with his tail, sending him flying through the water. He quickly swam over to Manhunter, who was recovering on a rock.

"You alright, J'onn?" he asked

"I...will be." He said before looking up.

Manhunter suddenly moved BB to the side as he punched one of Manta's men who tried to attack from behind. BB looking in surprise before seeing more of them coming. He and Manhunter went straight for them in full force.

Aqualad saw as Trident's trident  fell to the ground. He swam over and picked it up before seeing Aquaman being struck across the face by Manta's weapon. Manta managed to pin him against a rock, with the energy staff jabbed against his chest.

"With you gone," he began to say "I'll be the only ruler the oceans!"

Suddenly a blast from behind sent Manta away. Aquaman looked to see his former sidekick swimming towards him the trident in hand.

"Keep dreaming, Manta." He said to him before looking back to his king

Aquaman smirked and said "Well done." He then looked to the trident and asked "May I?"

Aqualad didn't hesitate before handing over the trident to him. Aquaman seemed to test the weight of it and nod before seeing King Shark, now recovered and swimming straight towards them, ready to bite Aqualad's head off. He aimed it and fired, sending the monster back.

"I could get used to this." Aqauman grinned before he and Aqualad swam off to fight more enemies.

Black Manta recovered from where he landed. He looked to see as the Superman practically went through his forces with ease. He suddenly activated a control on his wrist, which commanded his ship to aim and fire missiles at him. A pair managed to his the man of steel dead on, sending him flying. He crashed against some of the debris from the H.I.V.E. base before recovering to see more coming. Superman punched them away as he one came, but was forced to keep at it as one-after-another came.

Sinsetro created a barrier around him to avoid a blast from GL. He then dropped it before creating a blaster-like weapon with his ring and firing it at him. GL managed to zip away from the blasts before crating a large rocket launcher with his ring and firing at him. Sinestro zipped away from the blasts before both continued to fire one weapon after another.

Raven found herself blocking one blast from Kadabra after another with smaller magic barriers on her hands. She found and opening and tried to fire at him, but he made a vortex in front of him which swallowed the blast. Suddenly a similar one appeared behind her and sent the same blast at her back.  She took the blast and fell to the ground in front of him.

"And for my next trick," Abra  said as he approached her "I'll demonstrate how to saw a women in half...without the box!"

Just as he reached her, Raven suddenly looked up and fired a blast from her hands, sending him back.

She hovered in the air and said "Mine's better than yours." With a smirk on her face.
He looked up and growled before firing more magic at her.

As this happened, Supergirl slammed Bizzaro against a wall while the two were in the air.

"Why are you even here, Bizzaro?" she interrogated as she kept him pinned to the wall with her arm against his neck.

"Because Bizzaro love Superman." He said. "Bizzaro love him so much he not willing to do anything for him. Even no break cousin of his."

Suddenly he fired ice-beams from his eyes, a contrast to Superman's heat vision, and struck her in the face. Supergirl found herself blinded by the ice covering her face, and hovering back as she tried to remove it. Before she could, Bizzaro gave a deep breath before blowing her away with his super-breath. She went flying back before hitting the opposite wall. He zipped forward and struck her will full force.

Below, the Flashes found themselves running in a circle around Cinderblock. He tried to follow one of them with his eyes, but started to feel dizzy from the sensation. He shook it off before slamming his foot down hard on the ground. The seismic vibration sent to two off their feet and onto the ground. They both ended up landed next to each other in the process. Before they could recover, Cinderblock came close and lifted his foot up, ready to bring it down of them.

"Kins!"

Suddenly Cinderblocks other foot started to skin into the surprisingly sand like floor. He stumbled from this and landed on his back. The two looked to see Zatanna, now recovered, standing where she was with her arm out.

"Thanks!" Flash called to her before Cinderblock picked himself up.

He saw her and picked up one of the debris rocks nearby and tossed it at her. She closed her eyes and disappeared in a puff of smoke, repapering in another spot to the right of where the rock fell.

Kid Flash zipped up to the rock-monster's shoulders and said "That wasn't very nice!"
He started to struggle with the fastest bot alive on top of him, while the Flash ran around his legs, trying to punch at them with super-speed.

Firestorm managed to use his powers to make the floor under Parasite wet, making him slip once he reached the spot with the super-speed he gained. He fell but recovered before being hit back by one of Firestorm's blasts.

"Might have super speed," he said, "but you're still slow."

"Maybe It's not speed I need..." Parasite said, picking himself up "...but strength."

Suddenly he zipped past Firestorm and towards Wonder Woman, who deflected one of Light's blasts back at him. He sized her by the arms and started to absorb her energy. She screamed and struggled as she felt her strength leave her. Firestorm flew over to help but was stopped by Light who fired a massive blast at him, sending him back.

"Amazonian!" Parasite chuckled, taking in Wonder Woman's power. "Just like mamma used to make!"

Wonder Woman finally managed to get him off of her by arching her head back and slamming it against his face. He stumble back before she jumped and round-house kicked him away. She dropped to the floor, taking deep breaths as she recovered, before she saw Parasite pick himself up and rub his jaw. She stood and regained herself just as he did, before both of them flew towards each other with haste.

Starfire and Blackfire zipped around in the air. When they weren't firing bolts at each other, they were coming in towards each other to try and fight close combat. There came a point where both had each other by the hands. They struggled before both fired from their eyes, causing a small explosion that sent them back.

Starfire hovered as she said "Why have you aligned yourself with these villains, Blackfire?"

"Is that some kind of joke?" she answered, with a infuriated tone. "You ruined everything for me! You stole the thorn, destroyed my chance at ultimate power, and banished me from our home! But now I have a chance to make you suffer, just like you made me suffer!"

"This is not the way it should be, sister!" Star retorted. "I Have heard much about these criminals. They cannot be trusted."

"So I should trust you instead? Forget it. They promised to help me take back Tameran, after we've dealt with you, the Titans and the League. I won't give that up...not even for you!"

She fired full force with both her hands and her eyes, making Starfire hold her arms up in defense as she was sent flying back. Just as she recovered, Blackfire slammed into her and sent her flying down towards the ground.

Poison Ivy tightened the vies around Hawkgirl as she said "This little birdy shouldn't have stumble so far into our garden. Right, my lovely's?" She spoke to one of the vines that crept closer to her face.

"Figured you...would be in...on this..." Haewkgirl said, struggle as the grips grew tighter around her neck. "What's...in it for you.....better fertilizer?"

"Oh how funny." She said, as she made the grips tighter. "Hope that sense of humor keeps you stated when I'm done feeding you to my pets."

As they spoke, Hawkgirl tried to get her grip on her mace. After Ivy spoke last she finally managed to grab hold of it.

"Not interested!" she declared before swinging her mace.

It sparked with electricity as is seemed to cut down the vines around her. Ivy packed away as she saw Hawkgirl cut more and more vines that held her away. She started to run with Hawkgirl finally managing to free herself and fall feet first to the ground. She saw as Ivy ran and took flight after her. Ivy looked back to see this and commanded her plants to attack. Vines from all over tried to either block or stop Hawkgirl from chasing after her. She either maneuvered around them or swatted them into pieces with her mace as she gave chase.

As Speedy fought Killer Frost, she managed to encase all but his head and his right arm in a block of ice. He managed to reach for one of his arrows and stabbed it into the ice, melting it. As he recovered, Frost fired one blast of ice after another at him. He jumped and dodged before finding an opening and shooting one of his arrows at her feet. The explosion sent her stumbling back, giving him time to fire three at a time. A cloud of smoke came up from this and Killer Frost couldn't see where he was once he stopped firing. Suddenly he came out from the smoke and stuck her across the chest with his bow.
As the two fought, Green Arrow avoided blasts from Cap. Boomerangs explosive-boomerangs he threw at him.  The Captain managed to throw at least six at a time as he kept them griped between his fingers. Arrow managed to avoid most of them, but didn't see as he threw an extra one. This one didn't explode but came straight at him. He jumped away before it managed to cut along his shoulder. The boomerang swung around in the air and was caught by Cap. who smirked as he held three more in his other hand.

"Ok...might be a tiny bit worried now."  Arrow said.

Boomerang threw all four of them at him, making him jumped out of the way. They suddenly came flying back towards him, making Arrow duck, dodge and even managing to smack one out of the air with his bow. Taking the opportunity he grabbed an arrow and fired, making a boxing glove replace the tip. It struck the Cap. right in the face, sending him on his back.

Wonder Girl blocked and dodged more and more swipes from Cheetah . She eventually managed to pull out her lasso and looped it around one of her ankles, tripping her on her feet.

"Not bad." Cheetah said. "But two can play this game!"

She suddenly kicked the lasso off her feet and jumped for Wonder Girl. She expected Cheetah to fall on her but she instead landed behind her and whipped her tail around both of her legs, tripping her. She slipped herself around and pinned Wonder Girl to the ground with her foot on her back.

"Give it up, little one." She said. "I've taken on your sister, and she was much more experienced than you."

"Maybe so..." Wonder Girl said, struggling "...but I have had just as much training as her!"

She suddenly lifted herself up with her strength, sending Cheetah off of her and landing on her back. Cheetah recovered and tried to swipe at her again, but Wonder Girl caught both of her wrists and the two started to struggle.

Animal Man used the speed of a rabbit to avoid being dog piled by about thirty or so Billy Numerous copies. Suddenly two managed to jump on him from behind and force him to the ground. The other all piled over him and tried to hold him down.

"I think we got him, Billy's!" one declared.

The other all gave a "Ye-ha!" at this before the pile seemed to shake. Before they knew it, all the Billy's went flying into the air as Animal Man picked himself up. They recovered and came running towards him, making Animal Man use the strength of a gorilla to knock down one after another  as they came.

"Keep setting them up." Animal Man said, as he still fought "Cause I'll just keep knocking them down!"

He changed his power to that of a rhino's as he charged into a group of Billy's in front of him.

Still undercover from Gizmo's blasts, Batgirl managed to pull out two different object from her belt. One she threw without Gizmo seeing, the other she waited until finding an opening when he stopped and tossed it at him. He saw as the batarang came flying towards him and blasted it away.

"Ha!" he said. "You didn't think I'd see that?"

Suddenly he heard a whirling sound as another one came from the side and hit him in the head.

"No. That one." Batgirl said with a smirk.

He recovered and activated his metal spider legs. He came towards her and tried to stab her with them. She dogged and jumped away at each stab and swipe he made. She managed to land behind him and toss more batarangs at him, which he smacked away before giving chase to her again.

Mammoth found himself ramming into one of the old computers and growling as he looked back to see Batman standing there. He picked up one of them and threw it at Batman. He jumped away and threw a light-ball at him, casing a big flash of light that blinded Mammoth. As he stumbled back, rubbing his eyes to see, Batman leapt forward and kicked him in the face. He shook it off, and his temporary blindness before seeing him and slamming his fists down. Batman managed to dodge this and punched Mammoth in the face. He smiled before grabbing him by the cape and hoisting him up.

"You think you can take me, old man?" he said, holding Batman up.

"I've fought bigger." He said, pulling something from his utility belt. "And uglier!"

He suddenly slapped a small device against his face, and a sonic sound wave suddenly filled Mammoth's ears with a high buzzing. He let Batman go and stumbled back, covering his ears in pain. Batman looked back and saw at Gizmo had Batgirl pinned against a wall. He threw a batagran at his backpack, breaking it in the process. Gizmo screamed as sparks flew and his arms seemed to go haywire. Batgirl dropped to the ground as Gizmo stumbled back, and Batman went to her.

As he helped her up she said "Thanks."

"Don't thank me yet." He said. "We still have a fight on our hands."

"They were waiting for us." She said. "How?"

"Not sure. But I think...."

Just then, Mammoth managed to pull off the sonic device and Gizmo the batarang. They both grinned before looking back to their opponents. Batman and Batgirl both stood ready to fight before waving with their fingers, indicating to "bring it on."

As they fought, the Joker managed to sneak around the fight, not being noticed, and made his way outside.

Cyborg shined his shoulder light all over the dark room, trying to find Cheshire.

"Here, kitty, kitty." He said, keeping his cannon arm pointed wherever the light was.

Suddenly he found her, hiding up above him. The moment the light shinned on her, the first thing he saw was her dropping down. She managed to slice across his chest with her claws, making him fire in the air and miss her. She jumped away from him after she landed and stood in a stance.

Cy rubbed the scratches across his chest and said "Kitty got claws." He changed his other arm into a cannon as well and said. "Alright then. We'll play it like that!"

He fired both of them at her, making her jump away. As he kept firing, she kept avoiding and ducking away.

Robin found himself and Red X in a close combat fight. He used his staff while X used his writs blades. The two blocked and swung at each other as they fought.

"Never figured you for a team player, Red X." Robin said as they fought. He knocked him back and on his feet before saying "You always looked out for yourself. Why the sudden change of heart?" X didn't answer, but only looked at him with his threatening eyes. "You're not exactly the quite type. What's wrong?"

X responded by firing explosive X's from his hands. Robin jumped away before he fired another X that managed to trap his arms to his side. He fell to the ground as X came closer. Robin managed to grab one of his birdagrans from his belt and cut his way free before X could fire another explosive in his face. He rolled away and stood before kicking X in the face and sending him back. He recovered and threw more X-shuriken at him, making Robin leap way from them. He stood as his eyes narrowed, and looked as X readied himself for more of a fight.

The Joker stood outside of the base and said "Ah smell that nice, Florida air." He took a deep breath and coughed saying "Eww. Smells like swamp sewage." Suddenly a communicator he had in his jacket pocket, shaped like a large cell-phone like device. "City morgue." He said as he answered. He listened to the speaker on the other end and said "Oh sure, sure of course. Would you like a side order to go with that?" The speaker voice raised, making him held the communicator out so not to go deaf from the yelling. "Sheesh. Calm down, big man. I'll handle it."

He looked up when he heard the sound of something and saw as Balckfire was pushing her sister down to the ground from the air. They landed so hard that they created a small crater from the landing.

"I'll get back to you." Joker said before shutting  off the communicator.

He walked over to see Blackfire standing over the unconscious Starfire, breathing hard as she looked up to him.

"Isn't that nice?" Joker said seeing this. "A little family reunion."

"She's not my family anymore, clown." Blackfire said, in an aggravated tone. "So what now?"

"Patience, princess." He said as he walked over to Starfire. "Now let me work my magic."

Starfire started to open her fluttering eyes as she looked up, half dazed, and said "R...robin...."

"Sorry, wrong guy." He said. "But here. Have a little whiff to lift the spirits."

He produced a little flower from his jacket and shoved it to her nose. A green gas started to rise from it as she was forced to take it all in.

Team B still continued to fight with Black Manta and his forces. Aquaman and Manta struggled  with both of their weapons locked on each other. Trident had Aqualad by the neck and started strangling him. Beast Boy, in the form of an octopus, was warping around the head of King Shark while he struggled to throw him off. Green Lantern, using a green sword, struggled with Sinestro, using a yellow sickle and hammer. And Superman was still being barraged with missiles from Manta's ship while Martian Manhunter dealt with the most of Manta's men.

Manta managed to knock Aquaman away and order for the few remaining men to deal with him. As they did, the communicator in his helmet signaled.

"What is it?" he said, activating it and listening to the speaker. "But we have them....very well.....yes. Yes. I'll handle that."

He stopped talking and looked to see Aquaman still busy and then changed his gaze to see Beast Boy and Aqualad, both of whom managed to knock their enemies away. He held up his wrists and fired something at them with his wrist blasters. Both of them were hit with darts shape like spears. Both for them fell unconscious, Beast Boy reverting to his normal form.

J'onn saw this and called out with his mind (HAL!)

Green Lantern, who had managed to trap Sinestro in a green bubble, looked to see this. He quickly fired his ring and made an air bubble for Beast Boy to breath. This gave Sinestro the opportunity to break from his prison.

"We're done here!" Black Manta called out to his troops.

All of them, including Sinestro and Trident, gave hardened looks before making their way over to him. Manta order for his ship to stop firing and the heroes all looked in confusion as to what was happening. Superman stood where he was, his arms over his head, and looked when he noticed the missiles had stopped. Around him was a destroyed crater from all the firing.

Manta's forces all swam close to the sub before looking back to the heroes. Suddenly a white light from behind them started to move over them, making them disappear.

"NO!" Superman said as he tried to rush forward before they could escape.

"This isn't over." Manta said before he and all the others disappeared.

Superman reached them too late. He looked back to see they were definitely gone. He then saw as Aquaman held Aqualad, who was still unconscious from the dart.

"Poison." He said to J'onn and Lantern, who were close by. "One of Manta's."

"We need to get them back to the Watchtower." Lantern said.

Aquaman nodded before looking to Superman. He nodded as well and they all started going up towards the T-Ship.

Team C found themselves in a more frustrating fight with their opponents. Supergirl was pinned to the floor of one of the platforms with Bizzaro holding her head down and holding one of her arms. Raven was in a magical power struggle with Abra Kadabra, both forcing their magic at each other. Fire Storm was still firing one blast and avoiding another as Doctor Light did the same. Zatanna and the Flashes used their combined powers to try and outmatch Cinderblock, who's strength proved to be more dominant and sturdy to deal with. And Wonder Woman had managed to grip her lasso around Parasite's neck while keeping her knee on his back o he couldn't reach for her.

"Enough of this, Parasite." She said. "Tell me, who's leading the Injustice League?" Her lasso started to glow, the magic of it starting to work on him. "Tell me!"

He struggled while the magic forced him to say "We....we're...being led by....by..."

Before she could get an answer, a rumbling could be heard overhead. All looked up from their fights and saw as the roof suddenly lifted itself up. Before they knew it, the roof was clean off and towering over them was the giantess herself, Giganta. On her shoulder was a familiar face to Kid Flash and Raven.

"Mallah!" KF said, seeing him.

"It's time for us to depart." Mallah called down to the other villains.

Giganta slammed her fist down in the middle of the room, causing a large tremor that knocked all off their feet. The villains took the opportunity and either knocked away their opponents or left them where they were. Bizzaro and Parasite, still with Wonder Woman's powers, flew up  while Cinderblock and Doctor Light jumped into Giganta's palm as she lifted them up.

Being the only one left, Kadabra held his arms out and said "That's all for now folks!"

He suddenly disappeared in a flash of light and smoke. The heroes all looked as the other villains disappeared as a white light passed over them, making them vanish.

"Uh....does that mean we win?" KF asked.

He and the other regroup in the middle for the room, Supergirl holding her back.

"You alright?" Flash asked.

"Yeah...just...Bizzaro sure did a number on my spine." She said.

Raven looked to them and said "If Mallah's involved, then so is the Brain."

"Then we've at least come out of this with another clue." Firestorm said.

"I'm not so sure." Wonder Woman said. "I almost got Parasite to reveal who the leader was. I doubt the Brain would give himself away so carelessly."

"So you think it's someone else?" Zatanna asked

"I'm positive it is." She answered.

All were silent for a moment, thinking on this, before Flash said "We should head back. We can report what we know to the others."

They nodded before Zatanna stood in front of the group and held her hands out.

"Rewthctaw ot tropsnart!"

With that they all vanished.

Joker walked away with Blackfire from where Stafire laid on the ground. He pulled out a large flare-gun from his jacket and aimed it upward. He fired and a large green flare went up. It exploded in the air with a loud enough bang for all around to hear.

Ivy found herself cornered by Hawkgirl, who had her pinned against a tree with her hand around her throat.

"Tell me who's behind all this!" she said "Now!"

Suddenly both heard the loud bang and Ivy smiled.

"Maybe another time." She said before she made a few of vines coil around Hawkgirl's legs from the water beneath their feet.

Hawkgirl struggled, giving Ivy time to slip from her grip and run for it.

"No!" she said as she managed to swat the vines away and fly after her. "Come back here!"

As Wonder Girl and Cheetah fought, she managed to scratch at her leg when she left it exposed. Wonder Girl dropped to her knee and held the wound while Cheetah smiled. She looked up omce the bang went out and looked back to Billy Numerous. He and his many clones were still trying to handle Animal Man.

"The signal!" she called to him. "Let's go!"

Suddenly both of them started running for the base, the few copies of Billy disappearing from Animal Man's grasp. Animal Man ran over to Wonder Girl first, seeing her wounded, and knelt next to her.

"You alright?" he asked

"Yes. I will be. Just try and stop them first." She indicated the direction the two ran off in. "I'll get to the Javelin."

He nodded and started running after them.

As Speedy hid behind a tree while Killer Frost continued to fire bolts of ice at him, Green Arrow had and arrow aimed at Cap. Boomerang.

He held his grip on it and said "No more games, Captain."

"Alright, son." He said raising his hands. "You got me."

Suddenly the bang sounded overhead and all looked up. Boomerang took the advantage and threw a smokerang at Arrow's feet, blinding him.

"C'mon, Frost!" he called to her.

She nodded and followed him back to the base. As the smoke cleared around Green Arrow, Speedy peeked out to see them running and started to follow.

"Wh...what was that?" Arrow asked as he waved the smoke away.

"Never mind!" Speedy said running past him. "They're getting away!"

"Hey wait, son!" Arrow called out before following.

Cyborg and Robin were still fighting with Cheshire and Red X when the bang could be heard even from down in the basement room. Both suddenly started running for the exit.

"Yo!" Cy called out. "We ain't done here!"

Both he and Robin started to chase after when Red X looked back and threw an X in between them. It was an electric one that sent shocks to both of them, slowing them down. Robin managed to knock it away, but by then both of the villains had left.

"Come on!" he said to Cyborg as they kept following.

The bang ran out even as Gizmo and Mammoth were being pinned by Batman and Batgirl.

"That's the signal!" Gizmo said before firing a barrage of smoke bombs from his backpack.

Both Batman and Batgirl were covered and blinded giving them time to escape. Mammoth rammed through one of the walls letting them escape. As this happened, Red X and Cheshire made their way through the room. Just as the smoke cleared for Batman and Batgirl, Robin and Cyborg met with them after exiting the staircase to the lower room.

"It was Red X and Cheshire!" Robin said o Batman. "They..."

"I know. Follow me!" Batman said.

With that all four heroes chased them out to the opening in front of the base. They could see the four they fought as well as Joker and Blackfire.

"Basty!" Joker said, seeing Batman, "So good to see you."

"What are you doing, Joker?" he demanded.

"Sheesh, you and the bird-boy think too much alike." He said. "You really think I'm going to spoil all this fun?"

Suddenly the other villains came out from different directions of the forest and joined the group. They were followed by the heroes who chased after them and the villains soon found themselves surrounded.

"It's over." Robin said to them.

"Over?" Joker said. "Why my dear bird-boy wonder...the fun's just beginning."

Suddenly a white light appeared behind the group. A large white portal was there, and stepping out of it was a familiar face.

"Warp!" Cyborg said, seeing him.

Just then all the villains made their way through the portal, Joker being the last.

"See you soon, kiddies!" he said before giving one final laugh.

Both Robin and Batman leapt for the portal, but it closed before either of them could reach it.

"We had them!" Robin said, angered.

"And we'll get them, eventually." Batman said.

"Robin!" Cyborg called out.

He looked over to see Cy kneeling over Starfire, who was lying face down to the ground.

"Starfire!" he said before running over. Once he reached her, he knelt down and shook her, saying "Starfire? Are you alright?"

Suddenly he heard her giggling. He turned her over and looked in horror at the contorted smile on her face. As h looked, her giggle turned more and more into a laugh. She was poisoned by the Joker's gas from the flower

"NO!" he exclaimed. "Starfire!"

Batman rushed over and pulled out a medical shot gadget. He stuck it in her arm and she passed out, the smile slowly fading away.

"Is she...?" Cy asked

"She'll be fine." Batman said, picking her up. "We'll get her medical attention at the Watchtower."

He started to walk back to the Javelin, the others following, while Robin cast his head down. Batgirl saw this and ran over to him.

"Robin..." she began

He shook her off and walked with the others, a angered and cold look in his eyes as he did. Batgirl saw this and gave a concerned look before walking with him.

As all made it back and set themselves up in the Javelin, Hawkgirl looked back to see Starfire still passed out, in Robin's arms now. She looked down, starting to regret what she had said to her before.

"They we're ready for us." Arrow said to Batman.

"It was almost like they knew." Animal Man added.

"They did know." He said back to them. "And that's what worries me." He looked to all four of the League members and whispered. "I think we have a traitor in our midst."

Cy looked to see  Robin holding Starfire carefully in his arms. He brushed her hair out of her eyes and tried to calm himself down, but it didn't help.

"She'll be ok, Robin." Speedy said.

"Yeah." Cy added. "We'll get her pacted up. And we'll stop the Injustice League."

"Good." Robin said, looking down from the others at Starfire still. "Because when I see the joker again..." He looked up and all could see the enraged look in his eyes as tears seemed to stream from them "...I'm going to kill him."
