Description Throughout the entire day the Teen Titans had tried to train these new young heroes with less than expected results.

********************

The first exercise they attempted was target practice. They had used the field outside of the Tower for a training ground for this one. The Titans, with the exception of Cyborg who was acting as the instructor for this course, stood to the side where the controls were. The new recruits stood at the opposite end of the course with a white, black and yellow line indicating where they needed to stand behind.

Cyborg, standing to the side of them, looked to the young ones and said “When it comes to combat, you gotta have a clear head and straight shot.” He demonstrated for a moment by using his arm cannon to fire and hit three targets without even moving.  After this he changed it back and said “ Just remember. To keep your eyes on the goal and on the target.”

He looked to Robin, who was at the controls, and nodded. This was the signal for him to begin the test. He activated a few controls and instantly a series of targets, both moving and non, shot up from the ground in front of them.

The one’s stuck to the ground were flat metal boards with large targets on them. The one’s flying around were like disks that flew on their sides, with the target marked on them.

“Now!” Cyborg declared, sending the heroes off to start firing.

Static and Stargirl already started to hit a number of targets by firing with their powers. Offspring had  extend his fists out far enough to land blows on the soft spots of the targets. Zan and Jayna bumped their fists together and she changed herself into a Sasquatch-like creature. She picked up rocks nearby and flung them at the targets, managing to hit a few flying ones as well. Only Zan was standing there, trying to think of what ton use.

Seeing this, Cyborg called out “Come on, Zan! Pick up the pace!”

He nodded while muttering to himself. “Ok. Think, Zan. Think.” Finally he blurted out “A tidal wave!”

Suddenly Zan did in fact become a giant wave. Unfortunately he ended up not only flooding the field, but also taking the others into the water in the process. Cyborg was the only one to jump out of the way in time while the others were washed away and into the field. Once the water died down they all sat there in wetted dirt.

“Uh....how was that?” Zan’s voice gurgled out of one of the puddles of water.

After this, Static’s hand had come to close and a small spark hit Zan. It made an electric pulse that went through him and forced him back to his normal form, twitching from the sparks of electricity.

“Sorry.” He said after seeing this.

The Titans either face-palmed, shook their heads, or looked in disbelief at how they messed up on the exercise.

********************

The next one they tried was inside the Tower’s gym. This was a relay race/obstacle course type of test.

Inside the gym was set up with a number of floating rings, all made from Cyborg’s tech and design, along with obvious climbing bars, a climbing tower and once section that involved a few jump boards as well. The rings themselves tended to move about back and forth, up and down, as part of the course.

Starfire acted as the coach for this course, and stood in front of the recruits as they stood behind yet another starting line. The other were sitting to the side and watching from a safer distance to learn from last time.

She began by saying “You must be ready for any and all situations that may arise when facing against an enemy or patrolling a new area.”

She demonstrated by floating up and turning to the course. She flew forward and zipped through the rings, managing to get through all of them and reach the other side of the course. She landed behind the line on the other side and turned to them, looking to see recruits have impressed looks on their faces.

“Now it is your turn, young heroes.” Starfire called over to them. “Begin!”

Static, Offspring and Zan had to run the ground course, after Zan had used his powers with Jayna to turn her into an eagle to fly though the rings and he deciding not to try and more water powers for the rest of the day, while Stargirl and Jayna went through the rings above.

Below, Static and Zan tried to pick up the pace and run through as much as they could. Offspring on the other hand merely stretched his body out to go over or around any and all obstacles. He even gave a smug wink to the others before finding himself at the end, smiling in his success.

Above Stargirl and Jayna, still in her eagle form,  zipped though and around the rings with slight difficulty. Stargirl tried to focus as she went through one after another. She then saw the chance she might not make it through the final one if she did not move fast enough. She focused on flying faster and managed to get through the ring.

She looked back, still flying forward, and said “Yeah! Alright!”

Stargirl did not realize she was still flying forward, right into Jayna, who had managed to move in her path, before finally hitting the wall behind her. Both fell to the ground hard and Jayna reverted back to her normal form, rubbing her head and groaning from the pain.

The other recruits, Static and Zan trying to catch their breath from all the running, all groaned at the silly mistake. The Titans gave the same disappointing look and gestures as they did before.

********************

The final Test the Titans attempted to complete with the recruits was combat training.

It was still in the gym, only now the other inventions from the obstacle course had been taken away. Now there was combat drones present, still  inventions designed by Cyborg.
The drones were based of those from the H.I.V.E. academy, spherical shaped on top with large claws on their hands. What acted as their eyes were small blue single eyes at the center of them. There were at least three for this time, Cyborg planning to use more if they’d proven themselves capable.

Robin, now acting as the instructor this time, looked to the others while standing in front of the deactivated drones with his hands folded behind his back.

“What may matter most in a fight his how well you adapt to your foes abilities.” He began to say. “One minute you could be dealing with a psychotic with super strength, the next it’s some giant mutant lizard. You need to be one your toes, analyze the situation and your surroundings, and watch your backs.”

Once they all nodded Robin moved to the side to join the others before indicating to Cyborg to activate the drones. Once on their eyes went from black to bright blue and looked to the recruits. All stood ready to fight before the drones came towards them.

Zan and Jayna used their fists, Jayna becoming a rhino, before charging towards the drone in front of them. She went right into it, but it managed to fight against her strength and push it away. From behind Zan was about to be struck by a drone that lifted its claws up. He turned in time to see and then transformed into a puddle, dropping to the ground as one and the claws not causing him harm one they struck.

Stargirl fired a few blots at the drone that attacked Zan from behind, making it turn and try to swipe at her. She managed to duck away before it blasted at her with a beam from its eye. She flew around and away from it and tried to fire more blasts at it.

Static ran towards the drone fighting with Jayna, still in her rhino form, just as she was tossed away by it. He concentrated and fired electric streams from his hands that shocked the drone for a moment. It recovered and turned before trying to stomp on him. Static jumped away in time and tried to fire again, this time trying to use his electric powers to manipulate the magnetic fields on the metal of the robot.

Robin and Cyborg took notice as Static managed to bend some of the metal on the robot’s hull. They looked and nodded seeing that.

Meanwhile Offspring was bending around and coiling past any and all strikes made by the drone he went one-on-one with made.

“Put ‘em up! Put ‘em up!” He jokingly said as he held his fists up and mocked the robot. He avoided one swing. “Missed me!” Another. “Missed me again!”

At this point Offspring’s body was stretched out and circled around in a loop a few times surrounding the drone. Offspring didn’t even notice this because he was too busy mockingly spitting at the robot. It managed to clap it’s claw on one section of his body, making him shrink back to a small form. With his body still clamped in its claw, the drone started spinning Offspring around-and-around. As it did he involuntarily started stretching his body out further and further.

Finally the drone stopped, Offspring dizzyingly spill bobbing his head back and forth, before it clapped another part of his body and held him overhead. With a heavy throw Offspring went flying, hitting Static, who was still struggling with his drone, and Stargirl. They went rolling into a jumbled pile together before landing against the wall. Static and Stargirl were stuck in a coiled mess of Offspring’s body, all warped up like a ball of string surrounding his friends.

“I think that’s his way of saying he gives up.” Offspring said in a dizzied tone.

Robin and the others groaned at yet another test failure.

********************

It was sunset by the time everyone had made their way back to the living room.

The recruits were sitting on the couch, all either groaning or rubbing whatever parts of their bodies hurt from all the aggressive training.

Offspring, his limbs starched out a bit from his exhaustion, said “You know how they say ‘No pain, no gain’? Well remind me to punch whoever came up with that line.”

Stargirl was rubbing her back saying “I hope a good massage is part of the training.”

The Titans were all behind them, closer to the small set of stairs leading to the door, in a group and talking among themselves.

“This isn’t going well.” Raven said.

“Tell me about it.” Cyborg added. “and I thought when Beast Boy trained it was sad.”

“Hey!” BB blurted out at that statement.

“But we mustn’t give up.” Starfire said. “They just need more time.”

“What they need are REAL tutors.” Cy said. “Let’s face it, as good as we are I don’t think we’re cut out for this kinda job.”

“I have to agree with Cyborg on this one.” Raven said. “Maybe we should just wait till the League gets back.”

Robin suddenly said “No. They trusted us with this and we’re not going to let them down.”

While they spoke, Static and the others looked back to see them talking among themselves before doing the same.

“You think they’re mad at us?” Jayna asked.

“Could you blame them?” Zan said. “Let’s face it, we stunk out there.”

“Speak for yourself.” Offspring said in an annoyed tone.

“On don’t even try to act all perfect, rubber band boy.” Stargirl said. “You didn’t exactly pinned down that robot in the training room.”

“Don’t start with me sweet-cheeks.”

“Sweet-cheeks?” She said in an angered tone as she raised her staff.

“Alright. Clam down, you two.” Static said, getting in between them and pushing them away. “None of us made a good impression today. That doesn’t mean were out of this yet. Look, all we need to do is learn from our mistakes. Got it?”

“Static’s got a point.” Zan said. “Let’s just hope the Titans see it.”

Suddenly they heard Robin call out “Static. Can I talk with you for a bit?”

Static, looking a bit taken back by this, said “Oh, uh, sure.” Before running over to him.
Robin took him out of the room and into one of the hallways while the others, mainly the new recruits watched as they walked out.

“We’re doomed.” Offspring said.

Once they were out of earshot, Robin stopped in the middle of the hallway to see Static.

“Look, Robin, uh, sir.” He began to say. “I know we didn’t do good, but, you know who it is. I mean It’s a rookie mistake and...oh man please don’t...”

“It’s ok, Static.” Robin said, putting his hand on his shoulder and giving him a reassuring look. “We know it’s just because this maybe a little new to you.”

Static gave a reliving sigh and said “Thanks, Robin. That’s a relief. And don’t worry. I’ll make sure all of us get up to speed.”

“That’s actually something I wanted to talk about.” He said before crossing his arms and leaning against the wall behind him. “I’ve notice something that you and the others lack: decent leadership. If you’re all hoping to be one a team, or at least be part of a team, then what you need is a good leader.”

“Well if it helps I think Stargirl got a lot of backing to her.” Static suggested.

“Actually I was thinking of you, Static.”

“Oh I see....wait me?!?” Static suddenly said. “But...why me?”

“I’ll admit, Static, you may not know it but I can see something in you.” Robin began. “Not sure if it’s your powers of the fact that you’re not the bickering type like the others, but I really think you’ve got what it takes.”

“Well...thank you for that.” Static began. “But...I...I don’t know. I mean what makes you so sure they’d listen to me?”

“It’s just a matter of listening to you,” Robin said “it’s more about if they’ll trust you. And right now, I trust you.”

Static perked up and smiled at this, Robin doing the same, before a sudden alert started to ring out and red lights began to flash. They ran into the living room with the Titans and the recruits already reacting to the sirens.

“What’s going on?” Jayna asked.

“Is the Tower about to hit an iceberg or something?” Offspring said. “What’s with all the sirens?”

Robin ran past to the laptop on to the computer monitor. The Titans had gathered around and behind the couch, Static included, while Robin brought up a map of the city with a red dot blipping over somewhere to the west.

“Robbery over on 85th St.” He said.

“No problem.” BB said. “we can be there and back by...”

Suddenly another siren went off and Robin said “Hold it.” Before seeing another blip go off somewhere south. “There’s another on Carmichael Av.” Suddenly another eastward. “Juniper Rd.” And two more went off, one further north and the other a little more west, not very close to the one on 85th. “There’s something everywhere.”

“What the heck is going on?” Cy asked, seeing all of this in disbelief.

“Guess we’ll figure out once we get there.” Raven said.

Robin turned back to the Titans and said “We’ll need to split up. We each take one of these sights and investigate.”

“Are you sure that is a good idea, Robin?” Star asked.

“We don’t have any other choice.” He retorted. “We won’t be able to get to all of them if we go in groups.”

“Hey wait!” Zan said, turning the Titans attention to the recruits. “What about us?”

The Titans all looked amongst each other before Robin said “Wait here until we get back.”

“What? No way!” Stargirl said. “Don’t leave us out just because of some tests.”

“This isn’t a negotiation.” Robin commandingly said. “You’re not ready yet and we can’t risk any of you getting injured or worse.”

“Oh Come on.” Offspring said. “Just give us a...”

He was stopped when Static said “Hey! They say stay here, then we stay here. Let’s just leave it to the pros for now, ok?”

Offspring looked as if he was about to say something but stopped and nodded along with the other recruits.

Static looked to Robin and winked while the boy wonder nodded and said “We’ll be back ASAP.” He then started running out the room with the Titans and said “Titans GO!”

With that the Titans made their way out of the Tower and found their own ways to reach the certain areas in the city where the crimes were taking place, leaving the recruits alone to wait for their return.

********************

Cyborg rode the T-Car to the one of the crime scenes. It was a museum devoted to all famous magicians and trick artists.

Once he reached it, Cyborg stopped the car and ran inside. He made his way through all the different exhibits and statues and other oddities that were on display, before reaching the largest room devoted to Harry Houdini.

The room was the most expansive, with a large dome shaped covering at the top. All around were different props and exhibits of some of Houdini’s most famous of tricks and illusions. In the middle was one of the water take trick with a dummy in a straightjacket standing in place for whoever would try it.

“No sign of anything here.” Cy said to himself. He kept his right arm as a canon in case of anything as he said “Maybe it was just a false alarm.”

“Mumbo Jumbo!”

A sudden spark of magic shot out at Cyborg, making him duck in time before it hit behind him. He looked to see as the magic hit a dummy of Houdini and turned it into a burst of bubbles. Cy turned back to see Mumbo stepping out of the shadows with his wand in hand.

“Mumbo!” he said, pointing his arm canon at him. “Figures.”

“Oh nice of you to join us, Borgy.” Mumbo said. “I was afraid you’d miss the big event.”

“You mean aside from me kicking your butt back to jail? I think I’ll just take the matinée and call it a day.”

Mumbo fired another bolt of magic that Cy ducked and rolled away from before firing at him.

“Now you see me.” Mumbo said before waving his wand over him and disappearing before the shot could reach him.

He reappeared behind Cy before he realized it and fired another shot of magic, this time striking a large banner over one of the archways in the room. It moved on its own and flew towards Cyborg, wrapping him up and immobilizing him in the end.

Cyborg fell to the ground, his body warped up in the banner, and said “Hey! What the heck’s...”

“Aw, look at that.” Mumbo said, walking over to him. “All wrapped up and ready for the big finale.”

“Finale?” Cy questioned, looking up to him. “Look, bozo, I...”

He was stopped when Mumbo snapped his fingers and made more of the banner fly up and wrap around his mouth.

“Now, now. No questions asked.” Mumbo said waging his finger. “I good magician doesn’t reveal his secrets. But I’ll let you in on a little secret: The ending performance will be a killer.”

As Cy looked worried by that statement, Mumbo only chuckled before snapping his fingers and making the two disappear.

********************

At a jewelry store on the other side of town, Fang had just busted through the window are having cocooned the staff and few security guards inside with his webbing.

In his hands were to large sacks of stolen goods. He looked around before using his spider legs to crawl up the side of the building across the street. Once he reached the top he looked back down. Seeing he was not being followed in any way he looked to his sacks of goods and grinned.

“Ha. Bingo.” He said.

“Might want to rethink that.” Someone from behind said.

Fang looked to see as Raven appeared from a portal on the ground.

“Was hoping it’d be Robin.” He said to her. “But I guess beggars can’t be choosers.”

“You’ll be doing a lot of begging after I send you back to jail.” Raven said in a threatening tone.

“Gotta catch me first!” he said before jumping over her and running with his spider legs.

She followed after him, flying, as he leapt from one rooftop after another. She tried to fire her own magic at him, but each time she missed or he managed to maneuver out of the way. It came to a point where she stopped and concentrated as they came closer to a small water tower on a nearby roof.

“Azara.Mertion. Zinthos!”

She made the supports on the water tower bend and break with her magic, making it fall towards Fang. He saw this coming and managed to jump forward before it could crush him. The water spilled out of it and came flooding towards him. He managed to leap to the next roof before the water could hit him and finally Raven still kept chasing him from above.

She flew lower to keep up with him before seeing Fang jump down into one of the alleyways. Raven made sharp turn down as she followed him, only to suddenly hit something and find herself stuck in it. It was a giant spider web that covered the entire spot on the alleyway. It was a trap.

“Oh great.” Raven said as she struggled in the webbing, only for it to cling to her arms, legs and torso as well as her robe.

“My, my, my.” Fang said he came out from under a hole in the web to the left of her and crawled closer. “Said the spider to the...raven.”

Raven growled and tried to chant her spell only for Fang to spit a web covering over her mouth to spot her. Now she was helpless. She cringed in disgust and fear of him and he only chuckled.

********************

Beast Boy, in the form of a pterodactyl, flew towards the crime scene south of where Cyborg was heading.

He made his way towards a music hall where he could already see people running out in fear of whatever it was that was attacking. He landed and changed to his normal form before running in. He made his way past the people before finding the main theater room.

The stage was large and had a half-dome shape roofing above. The theater had enough space in it for a balcony inside it with dark red seats set up inside.

BB looked to see as the musicians were running in fear from the large Killer Moth, who picked up one of their tubas and tossed it away.

“Killer Moth!” BB exclaimed to get his attention.

Moth turned to see him and said “Ah, good. I was wondering how much more damage I’d need to cause before one of you showed up.”

BB came running at him and changing into a tiger in the process while Killer Moth managed to fly up and away from him. He landed and clutched himself onto one of the curtains before looking down to see BB turn into a falcon and fly up to him. Killer Moth took the opportunity to smack him down  and send him to the ground hard.

BB recovered in time, reverting back to his normal form, to see Moth leap down at him with his claws bared. He changed into a gorilla and managed to grab his arms before they could scratch him. Moth brought his knee up and stuck BB in the jaw, forcing him to let go. While BB grabbed his chin in pain, still in gorilla form, Moth recovered and pulled out his electro-whip.

He looked up at a broken rafter and saw his opportunity. He used the whip to knock the legs from under BB, sending him on his back, and then used it to snag the rafter above. With a hard tug it made it full break, sending a large pill of wreckage and debris to come falling down on BB. He didn’t have time to move out of the way before it all came crashing down on him.

Once it cleared, Killer Moth saw as Beast Boy, back in his normal form, was unconscious amongst the fallen rubble. He gave a victorious laugh as he saw he’d accomplished his part of the plan.

********************

Starfire flew all the way to the eastern area where a crime was taking place.

She found herself flying towards a dress shop where the glass to the display window was broken and the door going inside it was broken off. She swopped in just in time to see Kitten standing inside and looking at herself in a pink dress.

Seeing her reflection in the mirror she was looking in herself, Kitten said “Well, well, look who it is.” She turned and posed to Starfire before saying “What do you think? Is it me?”

“The only thing that is you, Kitten, is that you are going back to jail.” Starfire said, landing on the ground in front of her.

“Wow. I don’t even know if that was a supposed to be smart.” Kitten commented.

“You will do no more robberying.” She said as she picked Kitten up by the collar.

“Hands off!” Kitten said, smacking her hands away. “You want me? Take it up with my chauffer.”

Before Starfire could question, a loud boom from behind caught her attention. She looked back to see Atlas standing there, a giant hole in the side of the store from his entry.

“You rang?” Atlas joked with a grin, seeing Starfire.

She turned and gave a battle cry before flying towards him, her fists pointed forward and glowing. He caught her fists in his hands and managed to fling her over his shoulder until she was outside. She went flying into a car and bounced off the hood of it before falling behind.

As atlas came closer to where she’d landed, Starfire, fully recovered, picked up the car and tossed it at him, hitting him right in the face. He backed up a bit and shook it off, only to have to raise his hands in defense as Starfire flew up in front of him and started volleying with starbolts.

This barley affected him as he managed to reach for a fire hydrant and pull it off the sidewalk with one hand and toss it at her. She didn’t see it in time before being stuck by the hydrant and foced back to the ground. She landed hard into the street and only looked up in time to see Atlas, with a bus over his head, smash it down on her.

Once he lifted it, Starfire weakly looked up in time to see Atlas chuckle and Kitten stand over her.

“Lights out, Star-baby.” She said before giving a wicked laugh and Starfire passed out.
Robin road on his motorcycle all the way to the only other place left where a crime was taking place.

********************

An electronics store had been broken into and the there wasn’t much evidence to show for it, only that it was abandoned at the light inside were off. Robin, finally arriving, parked the cycle and took off his helmet before making his way in. Seeing it was pitch black inside, Robin pulled out a small flashlight and held it close to his head as he looked around. As he searched it seemed as if nothing was touched. Nothing stolen, nothing broken, nothing unturned, just the broken lock to the door.

“I don’t get it.” Robin said, stopping and seeing that not even the register was broken into. “Nothing was taken so why brake in?”

“Not bright enough for you?” A voice in the darkness said. Before Robin could see who they said “How about this?”

A sudden burst of light energy blasted Robin clear out of the store and into the street. He landed in front of his cycle and had to use it to get back to his feet. When he did he saw a familiar face come walking out of the darkness and glowing.

“Dr. Light!” he said seeing him and taking a defensive stance.

“So good of you to come, Robin.” Light said, cracking the robotic knuckles of his gauntlets. “I was wondering which one of the Titans would come running this way.”

He held up his hand and fired another blast, only for Robin to jump away in time as it instead destroyed his cycle. After rolling for a moment and then getting to his feet, Robin tossed two birdarangs at Light, who created a barrier by holding his hand up and creating one with his armor. He dropped it once the birdarangs bounced off and away before creating an bigger blast with both hands together. Robin jumped away from it as the blast nearby car, but the explosion that followed from it caused him to fall on his front.

Dr. Light, laughing as he walked up to him, look at Robin and said “You Titans aren’t so mighty when there’s only one of you. Just as I figured.”

“Why try to rob this place, Light,” Robin said as he picked himself up “if you weren’t going to steal anything to begin with?”

“Tsk, tsk, tsk.” Light said, wagging his finger. “Surely the little junior detective can figure that out. I need to get you alone and away from your friends. That way none of you could count on the other.”

It suddenly dawned on Robin as he looked and said “You meant to separate us. That was your plan all along.”

“It’s good to see that wisdom of yours shine!” Light said before firing another blast of energy.

Robin didn’t have time to dodge or jump away from this one and was knocked back hard and to the ground. He started to pass out from the exhaustion and pain but not before seeing Dr. Light walk up and look down on him.

“Too bad all of that, along with your friends, will be extinguished.” He said before giving one final chuckle of victory.

********************

The new recruits had been waiting for a while now.

It was already night time as they sat around doing what they could while waiting. Offspring and Zan were busy playing one of the hover-car racing games that Cyborg and the others would play so much, Jayna was touring her way through the Tower, Stargirl was just relaxing while polishing the hook part of her staff on one of the side couches from where the two boys sat, and Static was sitting over on the counter in the kitchen area, looking more and more nervous.

Offspring and Zan went back and forth with their banter as they played the game by saying things such as “I’m winning” or “watch out now” or “here I come”. As they did they did what any intense gamer would do with their controllers: move them back and forth as if they were actually steering. While Zan did so like a normal person, as much as an alien that could shape-shift into water could be a normal person, while Offspring had his arms stretched out and in a loop for the fun of it.

Finally Jayna returned to the room from the front doorway with something in her hands.

“You will not believe what I found.” She said, only catching the attention of Stargirl. “I went and looked in Starfire’s room and found the cutest thing.” She held up what it was, revealing Silkie. “Isn’t it adorable?”

She tickled his underbelly, making him give an insect gurgle of joy. Stargirl looked awkwardly at this before giving a reassuring laugh.

“Yeah...real cute.” She said before seeing Static still looking nervous. She walked over to him, while the others were preoccupied, and said “Ok, I get that you’re worried about something but please don’t just sit here thinking to yourself. You’re making me nervous.”

He looked up to see her giving a friendly smile despite what was said, before saying “Sorry. It’s just they’ve been gone for a while now. Almost two hours and not even a head’s up? Something’s wrong.”

She looked over to the others, seeing that all had managed to hear what was said and stopped what they were doing to listen, before looking back and saying “I’m with you, Static.” She looked back to the others and said “If they’re in trouble we should go looking for them.”

“Trouble?” Zan said. “What makes you so sure they’re in trouble?”

“Yeah.” Offspring added. “Maybe they just took in the fact they stopped five crimes at once and went to get pizza or something. If they did I hope they saved some.”

“But not even putting a call through?” Stargirl retorted. “C’mon, Offspring, even you have to admit this is odd.”

“Oh come on.” He said, leaning back on the couch. “What could possibly have happened to them?”

As if on answer, the T.V. screen suddenly went static before the imaged changed. Now instead of a video game screen was the image of Dr. Light and the rest of the villains standing together as a group. All looked to see this as the image was broadcasted all over the city.

“Good people of Jump City,” Light began to say “we’re sorry for the interruption but we have some illuminating information for you. This city belongs to us now. And to prove it, here we have your precious protectors. Your gallant guardians. The Teen Titans!”

He moved the screen over to show all the Titans captured and bound in specialized energy cages. They were all trying to use their powers to escape, all proving useless against the energy bars.

All the recruits looked in shock at this while Offspring looked dumbfounded and said “Oh boy...”
