Description
The Great EscapeWithin the hours that had passed after Merida’s imprisonment Fergus and Elinor were pleading their case, in a rather aggressive manner, to Queen Minnie.
Minnie was accompanied by Daisy and Master Scrooge while Commander Mickey and Lieutenant Max stood to the side. They were still in the main hall of Castle Disney even though it was closer to morning and the room was almost completely cleared. None of the other guests were around any longer and all that was left were the servants currently cleaning.
“This is going too far, Queen Minnie!” Fergus had declared. “Having my wee girl locked up just because Lord Arawn demanded it. The blighter just couldn’t stand to have his ego mucked about.”
Minnie tried to settle him by saying “Please, King Fergus, try to understand.”
“What’s there to understand exactly, your majesty?” Elinor retorted. “Merida’s sitting in a cell as we speak and won’t be allowed out for a whole day. She’s a princess and our daughter, and we won’t tolerate this sort of behavior towards our family!”
Scrooge suddenly stepped in and said “It was no act against your family. You can be assured of that. But we couldn’t afford to lose the support of Lord Arawn. Please try to understand our position.”
Minnie continued with “With everything that’s happened over the years, the destruction caused by the star monster, loss of Hercules and then Master Yen Sid, and now the instability with the Hun Lands growing. We can’t afford to be divided now.”
Elinor huffed at this and said “So you expect us to just sweep this little incident under the rug? And where is Lord Arawn, by the way? I have a few things I’d like to share with him.”
“Aye. Like the end of my boot!” Fergus added. “Did he end up running home like Hans and some of the others?”
“No, he’s still presently with us.” Minnie said. “But I don’t think we need any further hostility with him.”
As all of the continued to argue Mickey sighed and looked away, Max noticing and whispering “Yeah, I think it’s all pointless too.”
“Not that.” Mickey whispered. “It’s something about what the princess said. About me and Minnie.”
“You mean where she said YOU were supposed to be king?” Max added. “Forgive me for saying, sir, but I don’t exactly see you being the king anytime soon.”
Mickey was silent, still thinking on the matter, before saying “Hold the fort down here, lieutenant. I need to see a princess about something.”
With that he turned and started walking out one of the side doors. Max only watched, a bit confused by all this, before turning his attention back to the still arguing royals.
None of them had noticed that one of the servants, Nani, had been doing everything she could to be close to the conversation to overhear what they were saying. She was scrubbing down the floors before seeing Mickey make his way out of the room. After waiting a moment to finish up what she could Nani picked herself up and began to follow after the musketeer commander.
She’d fallen behind once she was out of the main hall, on the ground that she needed to put the bucket of water out of the way before anyone would notice. She’s seen as he turned down one of the corners and slowly hurried her way after. However by the time she made it around the corner she found someone waiting for her.
Sitting on one of the chairs in the hallway, reading her book, Mary Poppins said “Often I would advise against snooping into other people’s conversations, however I find it curious that a servant girl like yourself would be interested in what the royals are saying.” She closed her book and looked up to Nani, seeing the confused expression on her face, before saying “Perhaps that’s not quite what you’re interested in, is it?”
Nani, still confused, asked “How…how did you know I was listening?”
“I like to think I am a very perceptive person.” She answered. “But I still have my question you’ve yet to answer: why were you listening?”
After trying to find the right words Nani answered “That princess, the one they took to the dungeons, she knows about my sister. I haven’t seen her in over a year and neither had anyone else. But the princess knew her name, so she must’ve seen her. I need to know.”
After hearing this Mary Poppins gave a curious look before standing and saying “Come. Walk with me for a time, Miss….?” After telling her name she finished with “Miss Nani.” Obediently Nani followed before Mary Poppins asked “What is her name?” Nani looked confused before she said “Your sister. What was her name?”
“Oh. Lilo.” She answered.
“And you say Lilo disappeared over a year ago? Any chance you could be slightly more accurate as to how long ‘over a year’ is?”
Nani needed a minute to think before answering “More like a year and a half. I remember around the time it was after that place was taken over. I…I can’t remember the name. The Tun Lands?”
“The Hun Lands.” Mary Poppins confirmed. “I see. And, after that, she just disappeared?”
Yes. I…I don’t know how. I just woke up one morning and she was…gone. I thought maybe she’d run away or something but I never found her.”
After giving another curious hum Mary Poppins stopped and asked “Did you and Lilo get along?”
After giving a small sigh she answered “Well…I tried to be for her. But I couldn’t be with her as often as I wanted. I kept trying to hold a job to support both of us. It was only me and her after all. But…sometimes I couldn’t make it home in time or I had to have someone watch her and….and she didn’t like that. I just….I just wish I could’ve tried harder.”
Nani was on the verge of tears now. Mary Poppins, seeing this, gave a sympathetic look before pulling out a handkerchief and handing it to her. She thanked the nanny before trying to dry her eyes.
“And any other children gone missing in your area?” Mary Poppins asked.
“Not many.” Nani said. “Some have but not around when Lilo did. And some of them did only run away. But I kept hearing stories about other kids who vanished and I thought maybe it was connected or is someone knew anything.”
“But you found nothing. Correct?” she asked. After Nani nodded Mary Poppins took a moment to collect all of this together before saying “I have a feeling they may be more connected than anyone realizes.”
“What are you saying?”
Mary Poppins fully turned to her and said “Nani, I promise you this: your sister is still alive. And if it is within my power, I will see her returned to you. Along with others whom I suspect have been affected by their missing children.”
Nani’s heart jumped at this as she asked “Y-you will? How?”
Mary Poppins only smiled and said “First thing’s first. I’ll need to gather my things. And you’ll need to stay here and wait.” As she began to walk away she said “But have no fear, Miss Nani. The next time you see me, I will bring Lilo back. I promise you that.”
Nani only watched as Mary Poppins eventually turned to corner of the hallway and left. She was both excited and confused by the small conversation they had, yet had a more anxiety feeling after the promise she made to find her sister. She then realized that she still had Mary Poppin’s handkerchief but instead held onto it, a means of reminding herself what was promised.
********************
Merida awoke in her cell to find everything completely quiet and the door surprisingly open.
She sprung from where she sat and cautiously took a step forward. She looked around, not seeing anyone, however she realized that it was more than just guards or anyone like that. There was no one in the cells around her. She looked around, confused, wondering if they’d managed to break out. While that would explain her open cell it didn’t explain how their doors were still locked and why she didn’t wake while it happened. Something was wrong here.
Wake up….
Merida turned when she heard the voice. It sounded like a loud whisper and seemed to come from all around her. She peeked through the cells, thinking one of the prisoners had said so, but there was no one else but her.
Wake up….
She turned again, only now seeing a bright light coming from the end of the cell block. It was small at first but began to grow brighter and brighter. Merida had to shield her eyes as it almost seemed to come closer now.
Wake up, Merida. You have much to do.
At that moment Merida recognized the voice and called “Master Yen Sid?”
WAKE UP!
********************
Merida awoke from her dream to the sound of someone saying “Wake up. Wake up, princess.”
She looked and saw it was Mickey, standing at her cell door. It took her a moment to realize everything she’d seen was a dream, even if it felt so real, and noticed Aladdin, Mulan and Flynn in their cells behind him.
Rising from her cot Merida rubbed her eyes and asked “Mickey? What are you doing here?”
“Waking us all from a decent nap for starters.” Flynn called from his cell as he and the others began to wake.
Mickey turned and gave a harsh “Enough out of you, pirate.” Before looking back to Merida and saying “I think there’s a few things we need to talk about.”
She huffed and said “If this is about me calling Lord Arawn a liar, I’m not interested.” She crossed her arms and turned her back to him while adding “I still stand by what I say. And if you believe me or not is your own problem.”
“My problem isn’t with what you said about Arawn. It’s….what you said about me and Queen Minnie.”
Merida turned, seeing the concerned look on his face, before asking “Are you saying you believe me?”
“No.” he answered bluntly. “In fact, given half of what you said, I’m not sure if anyone would believe you. But….the things you talked about. Like this morning when you mentioned the giant. And last night when you said I was supposed to be king.”
“What about it?” she asked, looking a little anxious to hear him out now.
He sighed as he began with “It’s just….I had dreams about the things you said. They’re not often but they always seem to repeat at times. I see…I see me and my friends killing the giant. And I see me and Minnie, together.”
“We’ve all had dreams like that, your round earnedness.” Jack Sparrow said from his cell. “I’ve had a few where I was swallowed whole by a monster and the saved by a sea of walking rocks.” He was quiet for a moment before adding “And I think there’s one where I was dressed as an archdeacon.”
While some of the others laughed at this Mickey demanded “Quiet!” before looking back to Merida. “Please, tell me how you know.”
She sighed and said “What’s the point. You probably won’t believe me anyway.”
“That’s what we said when we told them we were innocent.” Aladdin commented, getting a laugh from Flynn.
Mickey gave a sharp look back, Mulan even saying “Stow it!” Before he looked back to Merida, showing he wanted to hear her out.
She sighed before explaining “Okay. The thing is, and try to follow me close because even I don’t fully know, but the world we’re in isn’t real. Or at least…it’s not supposed to be.” She rubbed her forehead for a moment before continuing “In reality everything is supposed to be separated into its own worlds. In my world there was no Castle Disney or talking animals or lands like Arendelle or the like. Everything was forced together by a spell caused by Lord Arawn, who used to be called the Master of Worlds.”
“Now there’s a title for you.” Jack added while he and the others listened. “Lots of grandeur for a man who’s already proclaimed a hero apparently.”
“But that’s not all.” Merida said, speaking to him and the others now. “In these other worlds the histories are different. All of you never even knew about each other until the secret of the worlds was revealed.” She then looked to Mickey and stated “By you. And by Master Yen Sid.”
“Wait. Master Yen Sid knew this?” Mickey asked.
She scratched her head before saying “He may not have in THIS world, but before he knew all about it. You and him and Minnie. Everyone. We all knew each other and we came together to try and stop this from happening. But…but we failed. And now this world, this crazy place, it’s in place of what’s supposed to be. Everyone’s history has been changed. Along with their memories.”
Mickey, looking as though he was finding it hard to swallow, asked “If that’s true, then how do you still remember?”
“It’s hard to say.” She began. “In the other world Mary Poppins gave me this medicine. Some kind of magic potion I guess. But it worked.”
“And what makes you so special, if you don’t mind me asking.” Flynn asked from his cell as he and the others seemed interested now.
“I…I really don’t know. She didn’t really explain. But I thought if I found her in this world she’d be able to. She told me to find her so I thought she’d have the answers. I guess something went wrong or….I don’t even know anymore.”
She turned and leaned against the cell door before sliding to the floor while holding her head. Everyone could tell she was distressed over this, even if they didn’t fully understand, but the pirates knew to keep quiet for certain from here on.
Mickey, still curious, asked “Suppose I believed this was all true. That history is altered and all of these ‘worlds’ are supposed to be separated. What exactly are you hoping to do?”
She sighed as she tried to answer “I…I really don’t know. I was trying to make all of you remember. Or at least enough of you so we could stop Arawn and his master.” When Mickey questioned this Merida explained “We found some clues that Mary Poppins figured that Arawn wasn’t really behind it all. He was just a decoy or something for whoever’s really behind it. But we never found out who.” She gave a heavy groan before saying “I don’t even know who to trust anymore. People I know are gone or missing. And for all I know the real Master could be next to me and I’d never know.”
Jack, hearing this, commented “For the record it’s not me. Never really been interested in ruling the world. I wouldn’t have any time for personal things to do.”
Mickey didn’t even bother with him as he looked to Merida, seeing how upset she was, and asking “You really do believe all of it, don’t you? You’re so sure that what you know is real? And that all of this is just some giant trick?”
Merida looked back to him and said “I believe it because it’s true.” She stood and asked “Please, you have to believe me.”
“I wouldn’t if I were you, commander.” Someone said. Everyone looked to see Lord Arawn standing to the right in front of the door to the block, just as he said “I’m afraid the girl’s quiet mad. Shame, really.”
Mickey turned as Merida backed away a little before he said “This is a surprise, Lord Arawn. I didn’t expect to see you here.”
“Nor I you, Commander.” He said, walking up to him. “But then I suppose a good interrogation of a prisoner never hurt. Even if she is royal.” Mickey then asked why he was here to which he answered “The girl’s parent sent me. They’ve told how she’s been babbling nonsense for the past few weeks. They fear she may have some sickness of the mind, which I might be able to cure.”
Merida sneered and said “I’m not the mad one here, you lying little b-”
“Enough!” he shouted. “I will here no more of your delusional rants.” He stepped forward, pushing past Mickey, as he said “Nothing to worry about, my dear. You’ll be safe and secured once I take you back to Prydain.”
“Prydain?” Mickey asked. “Why there?”
“I lack the necessary medicines to help with her condition.” He explained. “But I don’t have time to explain. Let me take the child off your hands, commander. And I’ll leave you to continue protecting the Queen and the kingdom and all.”
He approached the cell, coming right to the door, making Merida step all the way to the back and saying “Don’t you even think of touching me!”
“Now, now. Don’t struggle.” He said as he looked for the keys to open the cell. “You’ll have nothing to worry about, child. You’ll be in the safest of hands.”
As Arawn finally found the keys, smirking as he did, before hearing Mickey say “Lord Arawn, step away from her at once.”
He turned and saw the mouse musketeer with his blade drawn and pointed at him. Merida and the others all looked and felt the tension as Arawn took a deep breath as if to say something to Mickey, who kept a serious look as he kept his blade at the ready. Instead Arawn answered with a blast of magic that sent Mickey flying until he landed against Mulan’s cell.
He huffed and said “Never did like mice.” Before walking over to Merida’s cell and unlocking it. Looking around Merida found a nearby bucket and tried to toss it at him, only for Arawn to grab it before she could and then pulling her up by the collar with his free hand.
He held her to his face and said “My master wishes a word with you, girl.” Before he started dragging her from her cell.
Merida kicked and called for him to stop while trying to awaken Mickey. The others watched in distress as she was pulled away, unable to do anything, until someone spoke up.
“Oye! Magic hands.” Jack said to get his attention. “Quick word, if you don’t mind.”
He only stopped to say “I’ve nothing to discuss with you pirates.” Before walking again.
“Not even to gander at how I know about the other worlds too?”
Arawn stopped and looked back, as did Merida, before he dragged her back towards Jack cell to see for himself. This was the first time Merida was able to fully see Jack, realizing how much more of a pirate he looked. She even noted how his bandana he had over his long locks of hair, was red instead of green like Mulan’s.
“How do you remember?” Arawn asked him as Jack leaned against his cell door with a smile. “I’ve never even heard of you before.”
“Haven’t you though?” Jack asked, a bit upset by that statement. He waved if off and, gesturing with his hands a lot as Merida noticed, he said “Funny thing is it came to me one day. There I was, minding my own, while trying to figure out the next line to the song ‘Captain Kidd.’ Bogged me mind for the longest time, though personally I blame too much rum, but then it hit me. At that moment I began to remember and realize who I really was.”
Arawn obviously asked “And that is….?”
He simply shrugged, smiled and answered “I’m Captain Jack Sparrow.” Before reaching out and punching the Lord square on the nose.
He’d hit him hard enough to where Arawn let Merida go as he backed up too close to Mulan’s cell. She took the opportunity and, using the bucket from her cell, slipping it through and slammed it over Arawn’s head. Mickey had begun to wake just in time to see Arawn fall down beside him, making him jump to his feet before Merida checked to make sure he was fine.
Both looked back to Jack who said “I hate it when they mistreat women. Especially miniature ones.”
Flynn only laughed and added “I can’t believe he fell for it.”
Merida smiled and thanked him before asking “Are you alright, Mickey?”
He rubbed his head before saying “I’m fine. And I think I should apologize for not believe you.”
Merida laughed a little before saying “Never mind that now. We need to go. We have to get out of here and find a way to Arendelle.”
“Why there?’ Mickey asked.
Before she could answer Jack said “If there’s need to go to Arendelle, you’ll need a ship. I happen to have one, though not on my person of course. But it’s a fast ship nonetheless.”
Mickey waved him off and said “We have plenty of our own ships.”
“But not a crew.” Aladdin added. “And you’ll need one if the two of you planning to go anywhere.”
“Yeah, c’mon.” Flynn said. “We deserve a little credit after helping you both out after all.”
Mickey didn’t exactly trust the idea but instead looked to Merida who, after thinking for a moment, looked and said “Let them go.”
With a heavy sigh Mickey grabbed the keys and said “The queen’s going to have my head.” Before releasing Aladdin and Abu first.
Once everyone was freed Merida dragged the still knocked out Arawn into a cell and locked him in. She put him in the one she was originally in before tossing the keys across the room so he’d not be able to use them himself.
She looked to the others and said “Alright, where’s the ship?”
“In the harbor. Where else?” Aladdin answered.
Mickey then said “Alright, then we’d better get moving before the guards find out.”
“But aren’t you one of them?” Flynn asked.
In response Mickey shrugged and said “You think they’ll trust me after I just helped a band of pirates break out while attacking a respected nobleman?”
Jack shrugged and said “Feels funny when you’re in a criminals shoes, isn’t it?” he then turned and said “Right. Let’s be off then.”
He and his crew began to follow before Mickey pointed out “Wait! The harbor’s that way.” Pointing the other direction.
“Aye, but first we need to acquire our affects.” He called before stopping and looking back to add “And my hat.”
As the two watched Jack and his crew walk off to gather their things Merida asked “Who is Jack Sparrow anyway?”
Mickey answered “Probably one of the worst pirates you’ll ever hear off.”
********************
Mary Poppins found herself gathering her things from her room in castle Disney.
She’d only needed her umbrella and carpet bag but, as proper as she was, she insisted on packing everything up. With her magical bag she was able to store everything that she’d taken out, including a large mirror, a hat stand, her extra pair of clothing she’d worn to the party, and even her little book she read.
Just as she finished her eyes caught the sight of the harbor, spotting as someone was hurrying out of one of the doorways with a group of people. She could tell they were pirates, given their manner of dress, but stopped when she recognized two of them. One was Commander Mickey but the other…
“Oh that foolish girl.” She said, shaking her head before taking her things and walking out of the room with haste.
********************
With her fully armed and dressed host of pirates, Merida followed them as they came down the steps into the harbor overlooking most of the other ships already anchored to find Jack’s ship.
As they ran around the docks guards had called for them to stop, trying to block their way. They were met by Mulan at the front who used a mix of sword and hand-to-hand skills to disarm them or knock them off so they’d land in the water.
After seeing her manage to take down four on her own Flynn had commented “I love it when she does that!”
“Save the flattery for later, Rider.” Mulan retorted before ordering “Come on. It’s this way!”
They ran further onward around the docks before eventually stopping as Jack said “Ah, there she is! The Black Pearl, my pride and beauty. In that order, I might add.”
For Merida and Mickey they had to stop and look at the large black colored ship before them. It truly was grand as it stuck out among the others, even with the black sails it had. After looking back to see more guards come, now accompanied by Lord Awarn, everyone hurried onto the ship.
Once aboard Jack called out orders like “Mr. Rider and Mr. Aladdin, hoist the anchor. Ms. Far at the wheel.” He looked to Merida and Mickey and said “You two, make yourselves useful and loosen the mooring lines.” He waited until they went to work before looking and saying “And Abu, on the cannon. Slow them down.” Abu gave a confused sound before Jack said “Don’t argue, just do it!”
Everyone quickly went about their duties on preparing the ship while Arawn and the guards closed in. As Merida helped Mickey with the mooring lines she looked and realized they wouldn’t have much time before they would be on them. However she didn’t notice until later that Abu, the small but active monkey that he was, aimed one of the canons towards the docks before using all of his strength to load a ball into it.
He gave a screech which Aladdin called out as “He said ‘Fire’!” before Abu lit the fuse.
The shot went off and made its target, hitting the point on the docks right in front of Arawn and the guards to cut them off from the Black Pearl. Some of the guards fell into the water as a result but Arawn growled with anger before ordering for the men to find another way around.
While Merida laughed at this, Abu joining her, Mickey called to Jack and Mulan “Can we make it out in time to out run them.”
“We’ll clear the harbor.” Mulan answered. “But we won’t get far ahead of them without any wind.”
The Black pearl managed to pull out of port and start sailing out and away from the harbor. Some of the crew looked back to see Arawn now ordering for another ship to go after them from the docks. Merida however looked past him and saw someone else making their way onto the docks nearby.
“Mary Poppins!” She called out to her. "Come on!"
The nanny stopped on the dock, seeing Merida waving to her, before calling “Be there in a moment.”
As she readied herself Arawn, seeing her, pushed past the men and yelled “Hold it!” making her stop to see him. As he approached he said “You! You’re somehow the cause of all this. You and that blasted little ginger-headed girl.” He then seized Mary Poppins by the arm and shouted “I want an explanation!”
Giving him a cross look Mary Poppins answered in a clam tone “The very first thing you need to know about me, sir, is that I don’t explain myself to anyone. And further more…” She suddenly swatted his hand with her umbrella before smacking him across the face with it, making him fall into the water. “…do not ever mistreat me or any other women like that again.”
The guards were shocked at how easily she beat Arawn before Mary Poppins simply fixed her sleeve and huffed before readying herself again. She then held out her umbrella, opening it, before standing still for a moment. After that everyone watched as she suddenly lifted off the ground and rose into the air.
From the deck of the Black Pearl, where everyone looked back and watched as she flew, to even a balcony at the castle where Queen Minnie, Daisy and Master Scrooge could see this. Once she was high enough Mary Poppins floated forward towards the ship, Arawn watching as he treaded water while feeling even more like a fool of having been beaten.
Eventually she managed to land on the deck in front of Merida, Mickey, Flynn and Abu before saying “The next time you plan to escape with a band of pirates from a royal dungeon, princess, please consult with me first.”
“I wouldn’t call it escaping just yet.” Mulan called to them before indicating to look behind.
Everyone hurried to the port side and looked to see one of the royal ships readying to move out of port after them. Everyone looked worried before Mary Poppins sighed and walked up to the stern of the Black Pearl, asking Jack to hold her carpet bag for her as she passed him.
“I really must do everything, mustn’t I?” she commented before holding one hand up and spinning her fingers.
Everyone waited to see what she was doing before realizing the wind began to change course. Everyone looked around, feeling as it began to increase, before realizing it was going against the royal ship. They watched as the wind’s power didn’t touch them and yet began to grow so violent that it started blowing men off their feet. Some were clinging onto poles or dropping to the ground in order to not be blow away by it.
After a few moments they were dealt with and Mary Poppins, still spinning her hand, pointed one finger forward. The wind now changed and went with the direction of the ship, helping to increase speed for them as they were now moving fast enough to clear the harbor.
After seeing this everyone smiled and/or laughed before Merida cried out “Mary Poppins, you’re….you’re…oh I wish I had a word for it.”
The nanny gave a bashful smile before saying “I’ll teach you the perfect one. After we’re out of the woods of course.”
As Merida nodded she heard her parents calling from another part of the docks, making her look to see them along with her brothers. All of them looked both confused and worried. And just as Mickey looked he saw Minnie and the others nearby as well, just as shocked as the others.
“Sorry, mum! Sorry, dad!” Merida called to them. “I’ll explain it all later…hopefully!”
Minnie then called “Mickey! What are you doing? Why are you doing this?”
“I am sorry, Queen Minnie!” he called. “But I need to find something out! I hope you won’t be too upset when I come back! And I’m sorry. Sorry I never told you that…well….how I actually feel about you! Oh! And Max? You’re Commander until then, understood?”
Max, taking back by this, needed a moment before saying “Uh….Understood, sir!”
Finally Jack, hanging from one of the shrouds of the ship, called out “Farewell, your majesties! And remember this as the day that you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow.” He thought for a second before saying “Even though, technically, you already did catch him. Yet he escaped. So it somewhat negated the first time and…” he eventually shrugged and gave up before climbing back down to join the others.
Arawn managed to climb back up onto the deck and watched as the Black Pearl sailed away. He growled to the point of slamming his fist against the dock boards, his fist suddenly glowing with magic. Afterwards he picked himself up and turned walked off, making sure to get his men ready before sailing after them.
As Elinor and Fergus watched the queen said “Fergus, I fear our daughter has gone completely mental.”
The king shook his head before commenting “I think she gets it from your side.” Only to be punched in the arm by her.
As Minnie and the others watched Scrooge asked “Should we go after them, my lady?”
She did not answer. She only watched as the ship went further and further out of view. Even as Scrooge kept asking Minnie only shook her head before smiling and turning to walk back to the castle. Daisy looked to Max and Scrooge who only shrugged, thinking if she didn’t say to follow then they wouldn’t.
********************
As they were far from Castle Disney’s Flynn laughed and whooped before saying “Did you see that? We’re going to be famous for this, guys. The first pirates to ever escape from the Castle Disney dungeons in one piece. I say this call for a celebration.”
Aladdin nodded and said “I say that calls for a little celebration. I’ll get the rum.”
Suddenly Jack, coming up from the lower deck, said “Wouldn’t celebrate to soon, lads.” When asked he said “Two reasons. One: the rum is, to our greatest regret, gone.” As they, and Abu, groaned, Jack suggested “They must’ve cleaned out the stores once they took us in. And secondly, we’re not quite finished with our ‘escape’ as it is. Savvy?” They gave a confused look before he said “We have a need to make for friendlier waters. Agreed, Ms. Far?”
“Aye, Captain.” Mulan said as she steered the ship.
“Hold it!” Merida said as she, Mickey and Mary Poppins all stood as a group. “I thought we agreed to make for Arendelle."
“Apologies, your little highness.” He said, looking to her from the wheel next to Mulan. “But as we were currently escaping from our captors, the sudden realization of sailing into non-pirate waters, which there are a great many, I’ve decided any and all transactions between are hereby terminated effective immediately.” As Merida began to protest he said “Once we make port, hopefully we’ll find you another captain daft enough to see you and your nanny and mouse friend to Arendelle.”
“Coming from you, Captain, that’ll have to be a pretty daft one indeed.” Flynn joked.
Merida, pushing past him and Aladdin, hurried up the steps before saying “Please! We don’t have time to detour. We need to reach Arendelle as soon as possible, and you’re the only ones who can get us there. I can pay you. Whatever you want, it’s yours. All I ask is that you at least take us there. After that you can do as you wish.”
Mulan took a moment to see the desperation in her face before looking back to Jack and saying “It would only be a day’s sailing from here, Captain. Though, to be fair, it’s the closet port we have and we need to restock.”
Looking back to Merida Jack sighed before pulling out a compass from his belt. He opened it and watched the arrow spin before finally stopping and pointing east. He looked in that direction for himself and knew where it lead.
Closing it he commented “There’d better be rum there.” Before calling “Make way for Arendelle!” Merida sighed with relief, thanking Jack, before walking back down to the deck. He only looked to Mulan giving him a coy smile, before saying “I’m only doing it because she asked. Nothing more. Otherwise I’ll never hear the end of it.”
As Merida rejoined Mickey and Mary Poppins the former asked “Why Arendelle? Their only a trading kingdom, and don’t have much of an army. Is Lord Hans another friend of yours?”
Mary Poppins answered for Merida, patting the mouse’s shoulder and saying “I’ll explain later. Though I would question why we are going there first over anywhere else.”
Merida explained “If we’re going to stop Lord Arawn and his master, then we need a lot of magic on our side.” She looked to Mary Poppins and said “I mean more than we already have that is. And Queen Elsa has a lot of it.”
“Queen Elsa?” Mickey asked. “But she’d dead. Has been for some time.”
“I’m not convinced about whatever lies Hans has been telling everyone.” Merida said as she looked out towards the horizon. “Elsa is alive, and I intend to find her.” She sighed and commented “I just wish I’d brought my bow,”
Suddenly Mary Poppins cleared her throat before pulling something out from her carpet bag. When she revealed it was Merida’s bow, along with a quiver of arrows, she said “Never hurts to come prepared, your highness.” She smiled as she handed them both to Merida before commenting “I trust you know what you are doing, princess.”
After hearing that Merida slug her bow and quiver over her shoulder before giving a weak nod and saying “Aye. So do I. One thing's for sure though....we have a lot of work to do."

Excellent chapter, of course. I assume you must have a particularly nasty auto-corrector on your computer ? Wherever there should be Mr Fa, there's Mr Far written instead, which I assume is the software's work. Watch out for it !

How did I miss this three days ago? First off: you do an exceptional Captain Jack Sparrow! I can easily picture him doing what he does. Secondly: I knew that kid was a girl! It's Lilo! I think. Thirdly: I think that Abu should do a few Jack-esque things for Captain Jack Sparrow just to annoy him. Flynn seems to have a thing for Mulan, so I wonder if their relationship is going to blossom only to have it fall to pieces at the end when everything is set right. Speaking of Mulan, I do hope that you explain a few things on her new history. I can't really picture her being a pirate. Doesn't seem like her.

Idk how you missed it either lol. Not to mention the next chapter is already up lol. And it actually explains a little about Mulan's back-story just so you know lol. I'll keep in mind about the Abu annoying Jack stuff for future chapters. But I should note that the connection between Lilo and the mystery child may or may not be connected. Something you'll find out for sure lol.

Yeah, I did read the next one. Solid writing. A little advice for future reference: proofread your work before you upload it. I like to do it a couple of days before so that I'm not rushing through it and missing anything. Although sometimes I do tend to do just that. Depending on how fast I write.
