A special allium plant with an emerald bulb, native to the Autivale Island where it can be found scattered across the mountain.

Given enough time, the bulb can continuously regrow it's leaves and flower stalk after they withers. The flower itself also produces seeds that will spread across the land. If the bud itself was injured, it releases a gas of various chemicals that drives away insects and other small animals. Larger animals like human are unaffected.

The bulb itself is also edible, with a precious emerald core in the center, most likely a byproduct of the plant accumulated. The core could be used in both fabrication and brewing, or simply a renewable emerald substitue.

Addendum: Close observations shows that the Beryl Onion reaches maturity approximately 12% faster during winter. Causes have yet to be known
