*sigh* This is so freaking impressive, it makes me weep. I've been a Piccolo cosplayer for about three years now and this way beats mine. Um could you tell me what fabric you used for the gi and shoes. I'm remaking my outfit since it needs revamping but even more so because the next con I'm going to has Christopher Sabat attending. >.< Must...do..my..best. I would very much appreciate it if you would tell me. Please?

On this one, the gi fabric was a light weight jersey with elasic sewn into the waistband and ankles to produce the appropriate wrinkling. HOWEVER, I've stopped making gi outfits from that, because it often gets stretched out and doesn't hold it's form well. I would recommend a twill or cotton, something without stretch, and sewing the "wrinkled pleats" directly in then attaching an either a fitted waistband or elastic. Pleat the ankles as well, add elastic, and then hand sew on a 'cuff' of fabric for the look of the pants.
The shoes were just a regular orange twill. The bootie was sewn and then numerous rectangular swathes of the same fabric were artistically sewn on top to form the wrinkled look.
