Well, if you ever get the chance I highly recommend getting it. I haven't played a pokemon game since Ruby, and X is just amazing. It's actually managed to dethrone Gold as my favorite pokemon game.

Yeah, the 3DS is still a little expensive. It took some convincing for me to get one. Though you might want to look at Nintendo's official channels. They've been doing a lot of deals on refurbished 3DSs and the prices are pretty good.
