If I remember correctly, the very first Green Guardian story at Metrobay Comix showed at last that Green Guardian's date was under control of one of Green Guardian's archenemies... or it was herself a robot?

That part of that story has been retconned to not be true. Beate Fuchs (who first appeared in The First Date) is now established to have been GG's girlfriend for the last few years.
