Roar headed with the group that left to take down the villains...

A raichu surfed around in a dim lighted building, smiling smugly each time she passed some cheering plusle and minun. She was wondering if the deal she agreed with would involve breakfast the next morning, when something moved in her side vision. Quickly turning to the direction, she slowed down. Her eyes narrowed.

Roar was panicking now. He was standing behind a wooden wall that went all the way up to the ceiling. He had just hopped behind the wall in hopes of getting closer to the raichu and get to know her patrol-route. The plan was for another part of his group to capture the minun and plusle - while he used his Drilgloves to dig his way to beneath the biggest threat, the raichu, and one-hit KO them with a dig. He was strong enough for that, right?

The wartortle went to peek around the corner, slooowly. He peeked around the corner, and his heart flew up in his throat as a pair of intense, light blue eyes stared into his soul. They were accompanied by a wicked grin.

"Ey," the raichu said, grabbed him by the collar of his cape and literally swung him into the big, open part of the room where there was more light, making him spin and stumble. Roar's face was frozen in fear and admiration for her strength.

"I had to see you in the light, you looked so lonely in the dark," the raichu commented with slight excitement in her voice. The wartortle quickly turned to face the danger. The raichu was coming closer, surfing on her board. He backed away while turning his head to search for escape routes. This was not supposed to happen. This was not the plan.

The sight of his panick amused her. "What if," she said and jumped off the surftail with a bang. Roar flinched and immediately turned to face her, stopping. She continued with an even more wicked smile now, "Instead of grilling the whole place, I just have a fair fight to the death with you?" Confused by the question, he gulped. At least the village wouldn't suffer for his mistake. However, his thoughts returned to the 'mons on his side. Where were they? Would they swoop in to take the raichu down alongside him? Or... maybe he now could serve as a decoy to help them.

"Y-yes... Yes," Roar replied, his voice cracking on the first word. The raichu burst out in laughter. "Heh, all so growlithely-loyal to your hypocrit friends." Roar puffed up his chest although he was oh so nervous. He just hoped his Drilgloves would assist him in not getting shocked.

Jolts of electricity shot out from the raichu's cheek pouches. "It's boring to patrol. This will be fun." She threw herself at Roar, and he did the same.

A group of chuleaders had gathered now and used Helping Hand, fueling the raichu with power. However, neither of the duelists had noticed that the squad was muted due to something gray plastered on their mouths
