Thanks! That will be anything from pure weapon to half-weapon-half-scientific-tool. For sure it wouldn't shoot boring explosive projectiles. Not lasers too, though. Maybe clever projectiles which are gadgets on its own and will transform when shot, work semiautonomously after that. And the firing mechanism definitely shouldn't be based on small explosions like in modern weapons -- maybe let's imagine it to be pneumatic.
