So if I was required to use the sports tape, this is how I would've 'redesigned' Knuckles for Sonic Boom!Honestly I don't think the tape is a bad idea on Knuckles, one being he is the brawler of the group, and him being associated with ruins/temples most of the time it's kind of fitting. I really didn't see the need to make his arms so wonky looking, if you're using cartoony anatomy you might as well just exaggerate the key components (which would be his fists) instead of his entire upper torso.
Anyways, I did this really quick in a spur of the moment type deal - and was actually really happy with the outcome.

Great work but i'm going to say this that knuckles is supposed rather tall and strong to be the muscle of the 3.

Enough of KnucklesΒ looking likeΒ a skinny stick and all the male characters have the same bodyΒ size. Like Sonic who went from being a little short kid to a taller teenager or nowΒ aΒ 20 year old, it'sΒ time for Knuckles to grow and start looking like the big tough warrior that ties to act like.

yeah no problem. The new design is going to take some time getting used to. I really hope they don't format Knuckles into the big guy with brute strength but kind of stupid stereotype. That'd be disappointing. Sure Knuckles was gullible in the games but I like to think that was a cause of his big heart, not his small mind.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Hopefully they don't turn him into a complete muscle head because that would be a shame and a waste of his character. But I have high hopes for this outing so let's see what happens.
