Well the artist has the power to manipulate lights and such to make it be decieving so yeah, I hope she's not that small but I can see where your coming from. Very insightful picture, although I hope you didn't think I was insulting. It's very thoughtful and who knows what you meant-- everyone takes away their own little part I guess.

Seeing the thumbnail image, I could have sworn this was an image of an animal skull with a very strange lower jaw and the front of its snout either non-existant or covered by the hair...which was randomly sprouting from along the centerline of its muzzle.
Which makes this picture all the more awesome--I can still see it.

God damn. You realize I'm on DA too right? And that I can see comments that you make about right? And that I also have PMS right now and reading this doesn't make me feel any better.

That's a pretty immature comment to make, whereas I made one on an actual observation. You have not seen a photo of me, therefore you say that out of spite. If you don't want to see people comment about you then don't post for photographs.
People here are jerks, and they will knowingly post horrible things about people. I however, was not. I'm sorry if you are offended, but that is my outlook on that photo and I am fully entitled to my opinion. Having had two friends who have suffered from anorexia I worry when I see someone else who is probably their age looking like that. Perhaps it is just the lighting and your composure, but how would I know that, right? Calm down.
PMS is a freaking terrible excuse, by the way. Stop giving men more reason to fear us and what happens to us naturally. PMS is pretty much down to the fact that we feel so bad that they never understand nor care for what we go through every month. What a vicious cycle.

It was a negative observation which was not proven, and was not asked for. It was not constructive criticism, nor was it anything about the picture which we worked hard to create.
If you were honestly concerned for my health, I would have loved nothing more than a private note saying "hey missy, i saw a photo of you and just wanted to ask if your throid is working ok because i'm concerned and wanted to check. I understand that lighting and be manipulated and some poses which make bones more prominent."
To which I would have replied "Naww, thanks for your concern, but I've had my TSH, and blood biochem checked over and over, and my throid ultrasounded - and everything is fine. I just have fast metabolism. Wish i had more fat though, it would keep me warmer in winter lol."
Please don't assume people are thin because they starve themselves. I don't think fat people are fat because they keep stuffing their face. I think, hey - maybe they have an underactive throid, or maybe it's a side effect of some medication they are taking.
Also, yes - PMS is a bad excuse. But when you are also taking anitdepressants the pill and phytoestrogens - well, lets just say that mix makes you feel pretty crappy.
Then there's the fact that other people on DA were/are being jerks, and I just didn't need to see someone saying that I looked sick. I'm sorry if you were offended - I tried to convey it playfully, but I fail >__<

What to know what I ate for breakfast this morning (like every other morning)? I had bacon and two scrambled eggs with onion in a 7inch long roll. And I'm now sitting here with a 400g block of milk chocolate because I have PMS.

Oh, trust me, I understand. One of my children is small, so small the doctors think I don't feed him. But if they only saw how much he eats! And yet, he's bony and little. But that is what this photo does for me. I see sallow skin and bones and a faceless person who looks like they are begging for something.
