Mine favorite is (was) D'espairsRay but they disbanded and we'll see if they'll come back someday
Other than them I listen to Dir en grey, sukekiyo, -OZ-, and I like some of the stuff of others like Mucc, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, lynch. and so on... - but I don't listen to Japanese bands much lately *shrug*

I actually listen to almost everything, if it serves my mood or has something unique that I like - Rock, Folk, Indie, Electro, really everything (except Hip Hop/Rap ). I listen to a lot of mixes on 8tracks rather than single bands. Here's my account, if you're looking for some new music. that's probably one of them, yes it's really hard not to like Metz, but Itztli isn't used to sharing Tez' attention with others... it's nothing personal, he too would probably like Metz under different circumstances. ^^
