Inspiration:

I loved the drawing because
Reminded me of "once upon time" maidens
Romantic medieval times
Where the women would get politely treated
Where gentleman and shining knights existed
She would be treated like a fragile flower
Kissed by the hand by courtesy
Where she would have many admirers
Or even secret admirers
Escorted by those who wish and hoped
Of wining her heart
Some times serenades were sung underneath her window;
Sometimes flowers or even a simple flower
Offered to them
Where sometimes she would be awaken
By little rocks thrown at the window
Just so her passionate one
Would have the pleasure of looking upon her face
Or hearing her sweet melodious voice
So when he would go to sleep
He would go with his heart pleased
And full of joy, just by looking at his lovers face
The times where a simple kiss
Was already going too far
And breaking the maiden innocence
I am passionate about those times for one big reason
In medieval times relations would be taken very seriously
A relation to be begun with
A lot of respect, dedication, patient
Would have to be put into it
People would have more the opportunity to live the romance
To know better each other
And fall in love, real love
For more than a simple carnal desire, but like a simple gaze exchanged throw the eyes
Those times and gentleman's like
Respect, romance, honor and pride
Where just a simple given man's world, was enough to a solid trusted promise
Those times passed away sadly ...

Work Process Information:

Like the medieval times, was what captivated me in this drawing, I tried to make the image look has old and traditional looking has possible.
The background I gave it, kinda of a water colouring style to it, like something some liquid was spilled in the "paper".
I tried I different tool for the colouring, kinda like Wax Crayons.
Tried to keep the colours discreet, and simple.
At the end I just did some simple editing to make the work more yellowish like (more old).
Hope I achieved my goals, and all of you are pleased with this work.
