Description
I usually draw anthro and anime but I'm trying to put together a portfolio for my college applications so I'm not stuck building houses fo the rest of my life.I used to suck at drawing people and I haven't tried my hand at it for five years so give me your honest opinion. Thanks

I like this one man . I think the only thing weird is her shoulder. But other than that well done. That a hard angle too.

Now that is beautiful, a really nice piece of work. I find it so difficult to make drawings actually look attractive, yet you seem to have done it quite effectively (if not easily ).

That one was just a fluke I think because she was my first attempt at a real person in three years.

this is very well done, in comparison with your other drawing.. you have improved tremendously. This one could be improved too though.. just blend/smooth your shades. For your portfolio you will also need some Still Lifes... as boring as they can (or at least to me) they like to see that represented. OH! Use some different mediums too, to show you have diversity, like chalk, charcoal and paint. A scenic view might be beneficial.

I do have some Still Lifes because they are probably the easiest ones for me to draw since I have a large collection of interesting things to draw. But it never occured to me to show some diversity when it comes to different mediums. Thanks for the input, now I have a bit more of a chance of being accepted.

Thanks but it's not really a transition, It's just required for getting into a art school. But to be able to draw anthro, Anime or whatever floats your boat ne need to be capable of drawing realistic, and practice lots and lots of practice.
And Oh yeah thanks for the comment.
