Edit: forgot a couple face markings :'DOh man, I made this back on the 11th but never posted it. ewe;... I kept wanting to do the whole family bUT SEEING AS HOW LONG IT'S BEEN, I figured I'd post it now x'D
EEEP it's Calotype! The past kitty sibling of Phantascope is named at last!
I've drawn her once before in my dA gallery to introduce her. She's a super spooky fire mage!And she also snuck her way into my 2015 animations video, only for a split second, though, hehe.
BUT news on her, she also has a kitten named after her Edit: brother! After my dad couldn't pronounce Calotype, we started calling her Phanta instead. X'D I got the babe the 15th when me and katterley found her abandoned and malnourished on the side of the highway, and we quickly adopted her and have been taking care of her since.
She looks so much like Phantascope, all the turkish van markings and everything, but since she was a ladybit and I had JUST made Calotype's reference, she got named after her orignally, eeep
She wakes me up every morning with kneading and meowing, and I just adore her β₯I hope you enjoy! owo You'll most certainly be seeing more of Calotype in Mandatory's prequel arts and animations!

Calotype seems like the type of person to be an adorable little cinnamon bun but if you make her mad she will destroy you.
And she has fire magic and that makes me love her even more because fire is my favorite element .

I really like the fire effects you did for her, it makes her look ferocious which her appearance doesn't really suggest lol I had a thought if she was the one who taught Signal fire magic? Is magic a hereditary trait that can be passed on without use of the cube or other magical artifacts, or are those a necessary part of obtaining magic?

Aaah oh my goodness, thank you so much!!! β₯ Unfortunately she had passed long before Signal was born, but yes! Magic is hereditary generally based on power or aura color, but every individual has an aura, some just more of a magic inclination than others. Curiosity's cube just incredibly enhances the existing aura, making current mages incredibly more powerful, and non-mages able to cast magic, as well. If that all makes sense X'D

Ahhh I see! That's really cool though! So that would mean then, since Signal has access to fire magic, then at the very least Video and Stereo have some of this aura too, they're just not as magically inclined as their father?? I'm just kind of speculating on the idea of magic you have going on for the series, which btw is very interesting, I'm liking the direction you are going with this xD
You should post some pics of her on occasion so we can all see her xD As a suggestion lol
