Question! Since these are monkeys and monkeys have about the same neck flexibility as humans
how are they walking on all fours with their head raised above their shoulders like that? I'm genuinely curious because it looks sort of painful XD
Or is this sort of a misunderstanding of monkey anatomy due to you also drawing cats a lot? I think that makes sense and I am just wondering if you were aware of how it looks

HMMM THAT...would be just...bad anatomy knowledge owo; What do you suggest? I've looked up reference to draw them walking (mostly spider monkeys) and maybe just need to do it more. Oh no. XD

Hahaha! XD I had a feeling. It's completely understandable considering you also draw cats a lot.
Go on all fours (or hands and knees) and then while standing that way, pay attention to how your neck is able to move. Monkeys have veeeery similar anatomy to humans so using ourselves and our abilities as a reference can be helpful I feel!
You'll notice that while us primates can raise our head above our chests when on all fours, our necks aren't long and flexible enough to put our heads over our shoulders like a canines or felines!
