I know I was supposed to do Ashfur's design sheet before his...but I already draw Ashfur so much I wanted to take a break.
You'll see this design in Sol AMV - Bird and the Worm, I can't wait to start it someday.
Stocky, well muscled, wide spaced ears, tail bushing at the tip, and the pelt pattern and eyes, all mentioned in the book, I don't want anyone hissing at me from his design being wrong, I really tried here to make it 'correct' and yet still keep what I imagined in him.
I won't be making his AMV until the SkyClan manga their making is finished, I want to put it in the AMV, and his design is very...difficult to draw. X3

Eh, I remember the time then I used to be a warriortard and Sol fan... he seemed more original than the rest of the savage kitties. Did Erin Hunter ruined him too with giving a bad past? D:

I was a huge Sol fan as well, he was certainly my favorite.
Yes, she ruined him, I can't like him as much anymore, it's the silly generic idea they usually do, 'They wronged me in the past so I will harm their desendents!' Plus they shattered my shipping HollyXSol in The Forgotten Warrior.

Lol, Erins just love to ruin their villains with such cliche motivations. Thats actually one of reaons why I'm no longer Warriors fan.

I'm not all into Warriors anymore either, especially after The Last Hope, but I have to be gratful for it because if I never found it, I would have never learned how to animate from seeing the fanbase, make friends, and I probably would not have improved in cats so much too. Which I need to because I want to animate a story for my deceased cat, Splash. He had a very interesting tale to tell if he could have.
So that's why I still draw fan art and make animations for it, because I wouldn't be here today without it, nor my amazing watchers and friends.

I wish I could say the same =\ I was a kid, and from Warriors I learned to be ignorant, bad-tempered and even sadistic at some points. These books almost made me lose any faith in all the "Light side" stuff because no one of major characters seems to be a good... exemplar? Still have problems with dictionary... I mean, seriously, it's not something unnatural then a character what is positioned as a villain acts wrong because he supposed to be like that, but then "good ones" are positioned as right ones but behave like hypocrites or plain idiots... -_- A clan kitty what does not has a medicine cat education but can see or smell the difference between pregnant cat and not pregnant cat must be a GENIUS.

Once I had a thought that stupidness of characters is one of ways to make the plot, you know, somebody's too stupid to notice something or to do some hard thinking, and because of that we got problem, and the plot is about solving that problem...
