I can't agree more than this! If u can't say anything useful, well simply don't say it. Imho, I don't really care if my new deviation, for instance, don't have tons of comments. Fave without fool comment is much better, I felt more appreciated by that way. But dunno, somehow I still reply the pointless comments sometimes with the same LOL or SMILE. Don't tell me I'm turning become them Hahaha, no, no, I mean if they says pointless I answer the same as well, don't expect smart reply from me. Won't waste my time for that lil' shit. That's all

Though I don't get those kinds of comments too much, I will agree that one-word comments aren't needed. I say if you're going to leave a comment, make it worthwhile and don't just put "kewl" or "nice".

Yeah, one word comments are just plain annoying. These "one-word commenters" might as well say, "I have nothing to say."

Although, consider yourself lucky that you get comments. I hardly get any comments, but yeah, I would get pretty annoyed if they leave me these empty comments.

omgah, I totally agree with you! God, there's nothing more infuriating than when I draw something and work my ass off to get it done and looking really nice, only to submit to dA and get comments like, "pretty!", "cute!", or, my personal least favorite, "Kawaii!" I only know a little bit of Japanese, and I still don't speak it like I know it-- hell, I've even taken two years of German and I still feel hesitant about speaking in it. :/ It just annoys me when fan girls think it makes them "MOAR JAPPINEES LAWL0RZ" to say random words of it... >.>
