If they ever do a remake of Rescue Team, I'd really love to see them expand on the Hero and Gengar being foils to each other, just because it's a plotline that has a lot of really interesting potential to it, and is one that no other game in the series has done.

I haven't really done the post game yet for Gates To Infinity, but that's about it. I'll probably be able to finish that up in no time, so I'm not too worried. Although, I must admit, I did have a near heart attack for the final battle. I had run out of healing items, was unable to get more, and was constantly dying. In a panic, I kept resetting the battle. Turns out, it's perfectly fine if you keeping fainting. Trying to explain it the best I can without spoiling anything.

Hay man, dude is probably the most fun villain ever. They did give him a lot more backstory than any other!
Also sidenote I love his involvement in a comic series I'm reading it's wonderful

yeah, out of all villains in the PMD series, Gengar is the one with the most depth. (I think PSMD's main villain comes close, from what I read about it)

As much as I love Nuzleaf, PSMD doesn't give much reasoning for his evil actions. It's shown in the game he was being controlled by (spoilers!) Dark Matter, and it's implied it can manipulate others if they have darkness in their hearts. But we never see what happened in Nuzleaf's past to make him vulnerable enough to be controlled.
I honestly think Dark Matter is a good villain, and when you think about it, it has a lot more going on about it than it seems. This thread on reddit blew my mind (beware of spoilers!)
