It's a layer mode!Β
I use it to add highlights to the drawing

I never understood how rendering completely works. I don't know if it's even an option with the software I use. I see some using "render" brushes, but I never see them as an option on the software I use.
But the way I shade and stuff doesn't seem as good as the way others render their art.

so this is how you do the colors of your lineart and make them painting-ish.
when I do it, when I finish coloring, shading, and highlighting my drawings, I usually just overlap my lineart with darker yet different colors instead of leaving them black.
despite that I do love paintings they're not my style, I'm more into that drawing-ish paintings. exactly like in this video doesΒ www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDgXG_β¦ .
Still even though I have no use for this tutorial, I still would say this really cool and I hope you could still help more people with art. ^^

I always use a Multiply layer!
I know you can color pick from the color wheel to do shading, but I don't know much about Color Theory. Multiply layers are just easier for me lol
