This comic is just a joke, or poking fun about how people always bring up Bill Cipher when I talk about Vess. It's pretty easy to understand why, but at the same time I'm working on him and dragging him away from those similarities.
Besides, it's better to make a character that's loveable, than a character that's original. Because just like a character that's unoriginal can be loveable, a character that's original can be obnoxious, or uninteresting.
