Description
At ComicCon 2004, Jeff Berman presented me with a script for Untold, the lost tale of Dracula's origin.I loved it and wanted to be a part of it somehow, and this cover is the first step. There is a 3-issues comic-book in the making, as far as I understand, and I shall be making the covers. I think this one is going to be used for issue #1. I really hope that it gets made into a film, with a good director and good actors, because this little gem of a script has an enormous potential to be a blockbuster: it has all the ingredients for a good movie. The challenge is, like in cooking, to mix them carefully. Time will tell, knock on wood. On my site, [link] , you will be able to see the "making of", with many alternatives...

I love this becouse it makes Dracula look like a tragic figure. As if he was not 100% responsible for his fall. I have no idea what you were trying to convey, but that is what I got out of this. Oh, and the blood-dress and breaking tombstones are just freaking cool.

that would be smart, except that I get so many comments on some of my pieces (Staring Contest, for instance) that I just could NOT spend the time to read it all, and it would be a shame after someone spend their time writing something long and researched. However, if someone does it, I will read it, and answer accordingly.

I really like the stye! There's a lot of power in the main images, and the background adds just enough context without distracting ... yet piques the interest (what is it with the shattering grave markers?) and makes me want to turn the page ... reaching ...
