We hold onto power we have grown to fear and reject at an instinctual level as it draws her hateful gaze towards us, a hate that at long last she has begun to reject. We are bound to this duty in the very stone that torments us. For us to hold this arrangement, is suffering. The temptation to be relieved of this duty is only supplanted by the fear of being snuffed out by what we've been made to resist... and what threatens us and our mother as a whole. Tried to channel Natah and the shroud fraction from the Grey Goo RTS as a return to roots. I seem to have mixed results but with this iteration I'm quite proud of what's been made.
