Description

"Come brothers... sisters. Come join the Covenant of the Goddess' Redemption. Come join our effort that she may cleanse herself in preparation for her greater mission."

"This goddess of yours? A false one. Clearly ours is..."

"It's not about any intangible goddess. This is about a real and tangible one, or at least one that thinks of herself as one, and has the power to show for. If.. you would oppose us spreading our cause this way, at least safeguard your own people from what we are fighting. You've.. seen our pamphlets at least."

"Those other sins of nature.. those bug things, am I correct? Well.. I'll admit they're even worse as a cult.. and to top it off an infestation. We already try to hold our own off against them..."

"What's what we fight. That's why we need numbers.. that's why we need your cooperation. Can you at least plead to your leaders to let us in?"

"Our leaders don't like what you preach. They don't like your propaganda. They also don't like the fact that you're building that giant.. thing on the outskirts."

"The siege machine? You have a large fortress of those veiled fanatics on the outskirts too, yes? This thing is meant to displace them... ward them off permanently and send a message... and as for our message, we'll.. comply Grant us an audience with your figureheads, and if its anything, we'll take out the religious aspect, but not the doomsaying against those encroaching things."

"Right. I suppose I can write a petition as a concerned citizen and.."

"Ah! brother! have you come to accept our word of salvation? To aide with building the goddess' prison?"

"Wait, prison? I thought you w.."

"A self imposed punishment, brother. Her prison, that she may repent, and that in time she may find absolution."

"M....more importantly, containment. The last time she fought without it... the area was utterly devastated. You'd think what was left after such a battle was some kind of hell if not a mere purgatory."

"Indeed sister. Indeed. Now brother, come with me. Let us enter the threshold, that you may hear the goddess speak, that you may hear her plight. That you may at least.. consider joining our effort."

"Where dirt and grass lose color?"

"Where her thoughts are more tangible than word. Where you can feel her intent, where you can see her tears. Where you can understand why we sympathize with her, and where you may understand the awesome and terrible might of this monument we build."

"A monument that becomes animate when whatever part of her in it dies inside. A monument that somehow loses its field when the goddess expires in it. A monument that waits again for the goddess to re-manifest in it that it may resume rapture. A monument... to remind her of sins never again to commit"

Whatever energy I had for this, I slept on for too long. Now that I've made it, I'm happy. Large, 2-km high robot dubbed the "Dirge" is locked in a t-pose and meant to house Terlynn's "Daemon Queens" owing to a disaster of letting one loose to deal with her cancerous code. While her errant portions were purged, the landscape was rendered a hotbed for all kinds of supernatural activity due to her very use of such a form with a flair of power. The Dirge has a 5km radius of effect as it hovers along the landscape, with the space around it warping heavily as thought bleeds heavily into reality... Terlynn's thoughts. Within, a legion of Splinters and their allied and technoorganically altered pious as they wage a crusade against Terlynn's corruption. With how warped reality is, somehow the army of the pious suffers no casualities, as total destruction is nigh impossible while under Terlynn's protection. What follows after however, becomes a problem the splinters deal. More often than not as the Dirge completes its mission, the cult remains, sustained by the pious. Often than not what follows is technoprimitivism of varrying forms, or a need to cultivate and safeguard life wherever.
