It seems Red Robot will be with Alexandria Nauticalus today. What danger awaits our doll-sized explorer?
~~~
Overall, Saphreon was a grim dimension of grey skies and stormy waters. The realm was a vast sea with several islands, and deep within the ocean depths were labyrinths of mystic origin.
Ancient tomes from lost kingdoms were deep within the mazes, and these books were valuable—very valuable—for the arcane research of certain individuals. To be more specific, sea-focused sorceresses.
With his tremendous stomach quaking after each step, Alexandria walked hesitantly through a catacomb hall. The young boy had delicate stamina, and it showed in his walking speed.
Wobble. Tremor. Jiggle.
At a glance, Alexandria’s middle was entombed in dense adipose and nearly touched the ground. The mounds and mounds of fat on his waist made him look suited for libraries, chairs, and book study, instead of expeditions.
His gigantic rear and massive breasts only made this fact clearer.
“A-Ancient-souled one,” Alexandria stuttered. “My little relic…”
The crybaby decided to bring up a topic that was on his mind.
“I think you should take a break,” Alexandria added. “I-I know you’re a great swimmer, but the element of your soul is fire. I’m getting worried.”
Red Robot—a cute and doll-sized adventurer—was walking ahead of Alexandria. Out of politeness, Red zipped further ahead so that Alexandria could see him while they talked. Due to the immense stomach and breasts of the young boy, Red couldn’t stand too close if he wanted to be seen.
When Red found a good spot, he stopped, and turned to face Alex. The small robot then smiled a little and gave the aquarian a salute.
When Alex came to a stop, every ounce of flab on his body tremored. The boy then rested his hands on the fat padding his hips. His pose was similar to a pregnant woman’s.
“Oh I’m fine, ace,” Red said. “A ton of water does make my head feel a bit foggy, but I’m good. I really am. I’ve been through much worse and can tough things out.”
Alexandria gave a nervous frown. He knew his significant other was getting water-fatigued from all the underwater missions.
“I could…you know…” Alexandria began, before falling silent.
The beauty knew that deep down, his suggestion wouldn’t work.
Although Alexandria was a member of the aquarian species, he was an extremely slow swimmer. The boy was raised as a highborn sorceress, and that meant he gained an enormous amount of fat in order to produce more miracle blood.
Or in other words, blood containing soul magic.
To make a long story short, Alexandria didn’t physically swim. He used his electric powers to slowly levitate through water.
This sort of technique was very inefficient for underwater exploration.
Red caught on to what Alexandria was going to suggest, and tried to turn the situation around before the boy became upset.
“Oh don’t be silly,” Red said in a lighthearted way. “You’re too sophisticated to swim through all this dirty water! Besides, I can’t solve any of the super complex puzzles since I’m not an expert scholar like you.”
Alexandria chuckled slightly. “N-Nice try, Red. I can tell you’re trying to calm my nerves.”
Red then wagged his finger like a parent. “But am I wrong though?”
“I suppose not,” Alexandria said, sighing a little. The fat on his massive bosom then jiggled. “This labyrinth is brutal when it comes to arcane knowledge requirements, and, as you stated…this water is beneath my standards. I wouldn’t want to submerge in it. ”
Red and Alexandria continued traversing the halls.
“Do you think we’re getting close to finding the key for the sea tome chest?” Red asked.
“I-I think you are getting close to finding it,” Alexandria said. “While I’m getting close to receiving it.”
While walking, Alexandria performed a mystic hand sign and opened his palm. A small, hovering orb, of electricity then appeared. The orb unleashed a flexible beam of lightning that touched his enormous stomach and jiggled it.
Alexandria emphasized—through quivering his fat—that Red would be the one finding the key, since it was probably in a zone that required great athleticism and acrobatics.
Suddenly, Alexandria spotted a series of complex glyphs on the labyrinth wall.
“Hold on, dear.”
After turning to face the glyphs, Alexandria aimed his palm at the magic engravings. The beauty’s eyes began to glow, and he spoke a series of mystic words while attuning his mind and spirit to the magic flowing from the symbols.
Simply put, Alexandria was using specialized arcane knowledge to penetrate a series of mystic locks.
“Now this series is rather taxing…” Alex said. “I’ll have to attune my blood as well. Let’s put my corpulence to work so to speak.”
What the young boy meant, was that he’d need to make use of the wealth of miracle blood inside his body and adipose.
“Go Alex go!” Red cheered. “Show those magic symbols that you’re the smartest around—”
Suddenly, Red heard a violent hissing noise. A rift appeared in the labyrinth hall, and a chaos snake lunged out. The serpent slithered at breakneck pace towards Alexandria, and Red zipped in to defend him. The adventurer was a blur of fire.
BASH! Red torpedoed into the snake with a sliding kick.
“Red, is that a chaos—”
“Keep focus and don’t be scared!” Red unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks into the large snake. His attacks shot out like machine gun bullets.
“You don’t need to exit from attunement state!” Red added.
~~~
The small robot and his foe became locked in combat. The snake summoned spear projectiles of magic and thrashed viciously, while Red replied with martial arts and flame. The battle was short yet intense.
Upon defeat, the chaos snake released an ear-splitting screech. The monster then turned to crystal and shattered.
~~~
Alexandria’s near-immobile figure was an overload of flab compared to the crystal bits left behind. His stomach tremored as he breathed a tiny sigh of relief.
“I-I can tell by the fragments that the chaos serpent carried deathshock poison…” he said. “Thank you, Red.”
Red replied with a salute. “Don’t mention it, ace. So what’s next?”
Alexandria pointed to the new corridor that appeared after he solved the magic glyphs.
“I’m too wide for the new path,” he said. “So please be a darling and explore it. I’ll warp back to the safe chamber and you can meet me there once finished. If chaos monsters appear…they should be power-types instead of speed-types or swarmers. I should be fine.”
Alexandria then positioned his arm like a falconer, and gestured for Red to hop on his limb. Once the adventurer did so, Alexandria gave him a kiss on the forehead.
“Be careful, alright?” Alexandria said softly. “And try to stay out of water for a while if you can.”
