This is a pointillism piece with graphite used under the pen.8x10 on smooth bristol paper
Pointillism is like self-inflicted torture.
I really wanted to kill myself after working for 12 hours straight and having approximately a few square inches done.

This is gorgeous...I used to work in pointillism...all those hours with (_________ your expletive here) rapidographs....the nerves in the tip of my thumb still aren't right (& it's been a long time)

Love this image. I work in a similar medium, working in Paint at 800% magnitifcation and simply filling in pixels for days on end to build up an image, but your work far outshines anything I have ever done. Keep going, because times's not going anywhere fast!

Dang, that is insanely crafty and so unique. You don't see this rarely at all...especially in this day and age of instant gratification. I knew of one talented friend long ago who was really good at stuff like this and we'd watch him for days on end in art class. This really surpasses anything I've seen of the medium and is outstanding in detail and composition. It was worth the pain and trouble to create this cause it's simply marvelous! Outstanding work!

Patience.. no kidding. I was NOT expecting that I was going to be working on this for 20 hours, and I STILL feel like I rushed it. I had to get it done for class though.
