Soooo... I kinda started this thing a week ago or so? Don't really know how long it took me to finish it, but I give it my full atention aaand here it its~!

Maybe it's 'cus I'm gonna watch the 2019 version soon with my bro, cousins and dad... maybe xD

But yeah, this is my little own canon... which isn't that different for the disney canon, really lol.

So I'm gonna start with some little explanations to all this if ya don't mind~

*All of the characters are drawn as adults.

From Mohatu to Simba's kids it's pretty much canon, except it isn't really clear who was the child of Mohatu, I pic Uru 'cus why not. Other exception would be Kopa, who is tecnically not canon.

In the original script of the movie, Sarabi was sopossed to have three sisters, Naanda, Diku and Dwala, but they eliminated this characters for the final version, as well as the original idea for Nala, wha was supossed to be Naanda's daughter.
But, in the comics, Simba has at least 3 cousins, Mtoto and 2 unnamed cousins, and that's what give me the idea to include Sarabi's sisters.
(Or could actually be 2 cousins and one of them is Mtoto, but apparently I like making my life harder)

Naanda her mate and their sons are based on this picture of one of the comics.

They also erased the brother of Nala, Mheetu, of the final concept. So I based this version of the little brother of Nala of sketches and of the version I made of their father. I came up with this version of the father of Nala and Mheetu in base of this picture of the Lion Guard.

Before going on with other characters, I have to point out that, the 'couples' that have had offspring, and they aren't mates, it's probably a result of not consented relationships, that or something like a night stand thing, but mostly the first option.

That bring us to Tiifu, in my canon she's Scar and Diku daughter. That means that tecnically she's older or the same age as Kopa.
It would be strange if Scar, during his time as king, didn't take advantage of some of the lionesses (That and killing other strong males). So it's quite logical if he had more kids in the Pride Land.
But yeah, in my canon, Tiifu is maybe months older than Kopa, but she's a tiny lioness and a little weak too. And after what happen to Kopa, she promised to herself that she'll protect the other cubs that were growing in Nala.

That would change her personality slightly, but then again, this is my own canon lol.

In the 2nd movie, they didn't exactly explain who are Vitani and Kovu, Nuka says that Scar adopted Kovu and all of them call Zira 'mother'. I believe that Nuka it's the only cub that Zira and Scar had together and at the same time I can't see them as the biological parents of Kovu. Who know how Scar got him or who were his real parents.
Vitani on the other hand was a hard choise. She has a lot of similarities with Kovu, but also with Zira.
I had a lot of ideas, I could make her the sister of Kovu and have them both adopted; I could make her the sister of Nuka and the daughter of Scar or, I could make her the daughter of Zira with another male.

I choose the thrid option 'cus Scar's and Diku's "relationship" give me an idea.

Vitani is pretty much the result of jelausy. Zira was furious about what happen with Scar and Diku, but instead of attacking the other lioness, she went to find another male just to get Scar jealous. She end up pregnant and the other male dead 'cus of Scar's fury. It could be even Zira's fault, 'cus she could had lied to Scar and told him she had been forced by that other lion.
He didn't really care about Zira's pregnancy but he wasn't against the idea of having more heir.

In this canon Kopa was the first cub of Simba and Nala. He was born sortly after Simba became king, 'cus Nala was already pregnant when she and Simba returned to the Pride Rock.
Years went by and when Nala was expecting cubs again, someting terrible happend.
Zira attacked Kopa and left him close to death, then she threw him into the river (karma's a bitch). Sortly after, she and the followers of Scar were exiled of the Pride Lands by Simba himself.
After that, all the Pride mourned the lose of the prince, thinking he was dead.

But he wasn't, in my canon he's pretty much alive. Blind of one eye, afraid of the water and with a lot of scars, but alive. And away from Pride Lands.

And also is Nuka. I picture Nuka ending up hurt (Maybe a broken paw) after chasing after Simba. But then, ignoring the orders of his mother of staying resting and waiting for their return of their final battle, he went after them.
He came a little early than Kiara and Kovu, but he didn't fight, he could berely move after all. And then, he listened to what Kiara and Kovu where saying, he didn't really get it, but was surprised when Vitani stepped forward to go with their brother and told their mother that Kovu was right.
He wasn't angry with his sister and surprisingly, he wasn't angry with Kovu either. He kinda started understanding what they were saaying, but then her mother went crazy (more so than usual) and all happen in a bling of an eye.
His mother was close to falling to her death and Kiara was trying to help her.
Without thinking, he went down there too (with a lot of pain) and he tried to help them, but her mother was a lost cause. She fell, and Kiara would have fallen too if it were for Nuka.

The lion fell into the running water and all went black to him.
The sharp teeth of a crocodile was what woke him, but lucky he wasn't deadly hurt thanks to another lion and some other animals. He wasn't sure how long he had been asleep or how far the water took him, but he was grateful to be alive, even if he was hurt and bleeding.

He was going to thank his rescuers, but he notice that the lion was familiar to him... and he notice that that lion was his childhood friend, Kopa.

And I'm not gonna say any more of their story 'cus I wanted to do a comic (or a couple of comics) with my TLK stories.

And, the last thing I have to say about this, is about the hyenas.
First of all, I change the colors of pretty much all of them. I wanted to go with the canon colors, wich are the ones that Shenzi has. Normally they are colored with greys 'cus in the movie, almost in all the scenes, they appear in the night or in the sundown. But actually, they are more brownish than geysih.
That's why I change the colors of the hyenas. I wanted to give all or most of them those brownish colors.

I don't really have a lot to say about Jasiri's family, so I'll go to the other hyenas~.

Soo... crearly Shenzi was the matriarch of her clan, so it will be logical if Janja was her son. Just 'cus Janja is supossed to be the leader of his clan, but he is male, but if he were the son of the matriarch it would be a little more realistic than a random male hyena.

I cas see Shenzi with both Banzai and Ed and it isn't unusual for some animals to have more than one mate (although I don't know if hyenas have more than one mate, but bear with my shit xD)
And yeah, in my canon Banzai and Ed are brothers, so that would mean (as you can see in the drawing) that Janja, Chungu and Cheezi are hal-brothers and cousins.

But I'm doing a second version, which will include the next gen (and some bullshit like mpreg 'cus I'm a sucker for that and 'cus it's fiction lol).

In the 2nd movie, they didn't exactly explain who are Vitani and Kovu, Nuka says that Scar adopted Kovu and all of them call Zira 'mother'. I believe that Nuka it's the only cub that Zira and Scar had together and at the same time I can't see them as the biological parents of Kovu. Who know how Scar got him or who were his real parents.
