Thank you. This is how I pictured her originally - with softer colors.

Yuppers. But I've decided that she brightens up when she's mad or excited or charged with power or something. But I like how the muted colors look on her otherwise.

It makes me think of a furry version of a creature I know from Monster Hunter called lagiacrus, but this is way cuter! ^^

Yeah. She does kinda look like Lagiacrus. o_o Subconscious influence I think? Her silhouette would definitely resemble him.

Lol, but it's a gorgeous drawing! maybe it can be a new species for monster hunter!? Lives in the snow region? lol

I don't think she has enough pointy bits, though. XD

Actually it seems that you've been doing that for a while...

That looks great. All of the colors and line work all work with each other very nicely.
Your signature sort of looks like mine now.

Thank you. The background still kinda bugs me. I guess because it's textured and the rest isn't. I should have messed around a bit more the texture brushes on her fur and such. But I'm glad you like it.

I think the texture differences work. It provides contrast, and fur isn't going to have the same texture as a stone wall.

Oh, I know. But I've seen some artists use various texture brushes to give it a bit more depth and adds to the composition. Not necessarily the same texture as the wall though or even fur. Just....random texture. Makes it look more interesting, I think, rather than just using the same brush for everything.

But really, you seemed to have achieved the right textures without any special brushes.

There's always, you know, real brushes.

Basically. Mix them all together and you get some sort of weird, fuzzy dragon.
