Woah. It's been a while, huh?This will hopefully be part of something new I'm doing, you guys probably wont notice the difference, It's sort of personal.

Hey! Thanks alot, I appreciate it. Well I dont think the U.S. is gonna work for me right now, maybe when I build up my work and actually PICK out a major. Haha I can't seem to think of anything! I would want to do illustration but I dont get how that'll help me career wise. What are you doing?

I'm a Photo major at Savannah College of Art and Design. But my roommates are both Animation majors with Illustration minors. SCAD offers A LOT of scholarship money though, so I'm sure you'd get a generous amount if you'd submit your portfolio. They have a really high job placement rate for all of their majors also, so you wouldn't have to worry about living in a box or something because you picked a major you like. That was something I was worried about with going the art route too. Just something for you to think about!

I love how you have drawn the hair, it looks almost photographic, the hole thing does really. I like how you have filled the page with the portrait and kept it sort of dark at the sides making you focus on the face. The details in the lips are stunning, they look 3-dimensional. The eyes are so full of expression and the dark shadows around them seem to emphasize the mood.
Glad you're drawing again, I missed being amazed!

haha nope, I sometimes fix the contrast because as you know, scanning takes away so much of your original artwork. So yeah, nothing out of the ordinary. Haha.

Awww! I'm working on one! I promise! My scanner is still busted, this is actually a picture I took to show my friend online, it turned out to be a good one so I just went on with posting it! It wont work with the next drawing though so I need to fix or find a scanner soon.

I use dry ink pens, you can get more detail out of them because you can control the darkness of the pressure.
