Description
A closer view of the wing and how it attaches to the body. Unlike most winged characters, mine has the wings connected not just at the shoulder but down the length of the ribcage. As you may imagine this makes her rather hard to buy clothes for. The wings themselves are not bird wings as such, although they look similar, but a series of collapsible self articulated struts that knit together to form wings and other structures, think a spider’s leg crossed with a feather. These structures are clearly not shown in the picture so I still have some work to do.
