"In your endo." - The Todd, Scrubs.About sums it up? XD
Experimentation with narrative storytelling based on dialogue from a conversation my fiancé and I had, and also a bit more of pushing myself to actually finish a comic that I start, and work on it for some days persistantly. This was incredibly fun, some of the most fun I've had on art for a while! It was nice to work with this sort of sequential style and quick painterly-ness, and great practice!
Also, mature? I dunno. It's not exactly explicit, right? I know it's rather different to a lot of the other stuff I tend to upload, but it's more meant for a laugh, than anything. And also a bit 'ohnoyoudidn't', for when the reader inevitably realises what the dialogue actually means. Dohoho. I've seen far worse not flagged as mature, that's for sure!
I was actually considering entering this in the Daydream Contest, because it kind of fufills the requirements, but it is perhaps a little inappropriate. XD But hey, at least it's got a kind of cute ending, right?
This still counts towards my fair-share-upload-tally, by the way. XDDD I regret nothing ¬u¬

oh XD Well that's good I guess! The point is that it was meant to be innuendo, and at first you're like "awwr, a cute story about a birdie! like a kids book! .... oh wait. o_o" XDD

The painted look is so beautiful, and the glows and circles around the bird make it more pretty.
I did find that the scribbly text towards the end got a bit hard to read. I can see what you're trying to do with the coloured and semitransparent speech bubbles, but sometimes it makes the text hard to read. Maybe increasing the brightness or the opacity of the speech bubbles will fix it.
With all the effort you put into this, you could try entering it into the contest. As a comic it might stand out among the other entries.

Ahh, thank you so much. it was fun to work with painting rather than my normal sketching style, it was also faster too, I think, because I just went at what worked for the size of the panel rather than trying to cram in something I'd preplanned.. if that makes sense, haha. 8)
I'm sorry about the text, that would be my handwriting being illegible. The version I have is a higher-res, so it's easier to read, but I was concerned about it becoming difficult to read when I had to cram more text into a small space, like you noted. Thanks for the suggestions, though! ^_^
Hmm, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to enter it now that I've uploaded it.. I could try and would like to if I was able to, because I'm definitely not going to have time to do another entry like I was hoping I might. But I dunno, it doesn't really have anything to do with James and the Giant Peach XD

(I'm just imagining myself during the beginning of a second pregnancy. For whatever reason, I wont've taken the pregnancy test. Then, when I realise that I'm starting to grow outwards a bit, I'll think I'm getting bloated. Then I'll think I'm getting fat. Then i'll do a bit more excercise.
THEN I'd realise that it was a baby. And I'd probably smack Noah on the head for it. And then get all excited over another baby and hug him and be in a really good mood while Noah predicts the bad times ahead. =______=; XD)
Heehee, I got very blushy and awkward after writing the first kiss in the story. I guessed that you would be - I just thought that I'd point out how you aren't as much as you used to be. And it's probably a good thing to not care so much what other people think. As long as it's not against your own morals, all should be good. XD

It just worries me when people want to look in my sketchbook at school. I mean, I let them - but only a few know about Noah. And by a few I literally mean less than i can count on my hand. And then the slightly embarassing thing is when somebody reconises that it's me with some bloke they don't know - THEN we get awkward questions and me being... less than enthusiastic in answering. =____= I wish I didn't have to explain it. Half of the year don't like me anyway, it doesn't help to add that I have a fictional family that they'll probably think I created by myself for myself.
I don't really care, though. :/

People often go through my sketchbook and recognize pictures and the people in it (namely me!), but sometimes I stop them before they see anything particularly incriminating, haha. I'm not really bothered, though, anyone who judges poorly clearly isn't a close friend, and my close friends and family are all pretty cool with it. My Mum actually quite likes the boys and gets on well with them, although maybe she's just glad I'm not out partying XD
I dunno, some people will go "Oh! Is this your boyfriend?" so I just answer truthfully and say yes XD The awkwardness comes when they go "... so... who's THIS guy?" "my other boyfriend.... |D;" "... ooooooooooooooh~~~ lucky Teloka!" XDDDD which is fun, although sometimes embarassing, haha

Accourding to my friends I have a "style" now. Which i never noticed until they said so. It's not much of a style, but I'm working on it XD But yeah, they can recognise if some doodle on a random piece of paper is mine or not. I find it odd >_>
And, uhh, most people just skip over the fangirling pictures, though I have a feeling they know it's me. Every now and again I'll get a "Who's this guy?" And I'll answer rather smartassedly, "Someone."
I did try saying once that he was a friend of mine, but then they were asking where he was from and AH. It just... meh. I hate it when people ask too many questions. XD;
Actually, my close friends know who the characters are (though sometimes it's hard to tell them that no, that isn't a new character of mine, that's fanart, they're someone ELSES). One of them will always go "Awww, it's you and Noah~" when she sees a fangirling picture. And then I just smile and go "yep."
One of my friends still refer to him as "scarf-guy"...
