OK, same deal as with my Kakashi Figure Study , so I won't go into long explanations other than to say yes, it's only part of the full picture.
Genma isn't quite as successful as Kakashi was, but I figured I'd upload him anyway and let my backbrain think on what the problems are before fixing it and maybe screwing it up even more.

the only problem I see would be from out point of view, his right pectoral, it seems pointed and withered and off balance with his adjacent one

Yeah, it needs some work, but it doesn't need *quite* as much work as it looks like from this detail - if the full pic you can see that his torso is twisted and leaning forward more than you can here.

thanks! There's actually a worse problem - the leg you cna't see is out of proportion by a bit. I need to get that one done first. The chest and other leg can survive if I don't get around to them, but that one leg ... nope.

Oh gods...Genma. o.o Damn. (I rather like Genma. His attitude of apparently not giving a damn about anything and just irritated at times(like when Neji's blabbing about going to kill Naruto) is so COOL. Plus, I just like his character design.
Anyway, this is very cool. Your take on Genma? The Hot.

I couldn't show the *best* part of the figure study pic here, since cropping the image to show off his abs resulted in his leg looking bizarrely awkward. Ah well. People will just have to wait until my site is back up and running.
