Description

"(...) The pain in her arm and shoulder sharpened her awareness.  She hung dangerously off the cliff, but the steeled grip on her wrist refused to relent and let her go. Tears clouded her vision, the pain excruciating.(...)"

Second image inspired by a fanfic written by melaena (aka Eravalefantasy on AO3), featuring Alexios (AC: Odyssey) and my OC, Diandra.    The first one directly inspired by a scene from the story. Two more scenes planned on my list.   I hope i can do them!! ^^

Fanfic:

Chaire. . .My Hero

Fandom: Assassin’s Creed - Odyssey
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: None

Summary:

Alexios will leave Kephallonia soon and Diandra still regrets their lost friendship. Will she have a chance to say goodbye? If Phoibe has anything to say about it, then yes.

It took me a long time to decide the angle that I was completely satisfied with, but I finally decided on this one. I found no reference to help me with the poses. I found similar ones, but nothing exactly like I was looking for, so hope everything is ok.

Thanks for looking. ^^

I couldn't think of better name for the title.

Scaryyyyyy!

Once again you did a great job. The distress on her face is perfectly rendered (no pun intended) and the water underneath looks beautiful but deadly.

I hope he have a good grip with his left hand, because it looks it won't be easy to pull her up

Alexios almost fell off the cliff with her, but he saved her. She hurt her shoulder, but survived. ^^

Ok, this has to be one of the most dramatic, dynamic scenes you've done and you did more than a few. You know you did it right when the viewer goes: " Oh, crap! Don't lose your grip! Pull her up! Pull her up!

As always marvelous work hon.

Glad you liked, hon !!  And I'm glad to know that this is what the image passes: This sense of danger. ^^

I always wanted to do this kind of scene, with someone falling and the other person holding and the camera pointed down showing the danger. Now I had the opportunity of do it. ^^

Tinnuien [2019-04-14 08:34:49 +0000 UTC]

In those action full scenes it is for me also hard to decide on the perspective. I tend to think in multiple frames, like in a movie with each from a different camera angle. Together they would convey the emotion wich is difficult to do with just one picture. Like in this one, I immediately thought, how cool would look just the change of dof in two frames: one focusing on the face to show of the emotions and second focusing on the water, to show the danger. How to do it in just one frame 😅😅😅

Telperion-Studio In reply to Tinnuien [2019-04-14 23:40:39 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I wanted to show her expression of horror / fear and, at the same time, the sea and the rocks below showing the danger.
Oh by the way, I just followed you! You have really cool works!!

Nice point of view, Juli, and that's so awesome to see Alexios! Even before I read the description, I was like "Alexios!" I can't believe I recognized him from the back point of view. It looks fantastic full size, and I like how Alexios's hair is draping over his shoulder, emphasizing him leaning over to capture Diandra.

I actually just finished this game last week although as I understand it there are more expansions expected. I had to change my stance on the game. I think I played it too much shortly after its release. I picked up where I left off from months ago and actually missed it. Now I'm working my way through Dragon Age and it's totally making more sense to me now although I'm a little stuck at the moment. I don't know what to do next, but it's time I get back at Daz now so Dragon Age will have to wait a bit.

Thank you so much, Glen!! ^^

I always wanted to do this kind of scene, with someone holding the other person hanging on the cliff and the camera showing the danger just below. Now I had the opportunity.

It's so cool that you recognized Alexios !! hehehe    I tried to make him look like the original, but I don't know if I actually succeeded (Probably not  XD).  I'm still going to change him a little bit, but I don't want to be a perfectionist and waste a lot of time on his morph because I don't know if I'll make any more images with him after this little fanfic series. Not that I don't want to do more scenes with him in the future, but simply because I have no ideas of plots since I didn't play the game. XD It's so much easier to make images to illustrate something that is already finished! ^^

I've been wanting to play DA again for some time now, but i still can't take a break from DAZ. XD
I don't know if I will play again as my inquisitor Delylah or if I make an inquisitor Diandra. hahaha
Is your inquisitor romancing someone?

And I'm glad to see you again !!!

PS: sorry my late reply!! ^^

My character is a Daelish elf mage named Elliana or something like that. I don't recall how I acquired her. She looks like some silly Daz girl with her shoulder armor, dress and bra top. Hahaha

She's not romancing anyone yet, though I've tried flirting with Iron Bull who has just joined the group. Some Warden is apparently set up to be a romance option but I haven't given him the time of day so far. I must have a thing for horns!

There is a very funny scene during the romance with Bull.

I romanced Cullen, but I saw all the other companion's romances on youtube.
