I like them for being so humble about it.Β They aren't even making it a big deal for being the first non-straight couple shown on a cartoon show that's 100% canon.

I think that's the biggest reason I'm happy; they're not making an enormous deal out of it. Β It's one thing to have a gay couple as canon, it's another matter completely when you refuse to act as if you just did something that's out of the ordinary. Β The fact they treat this relationship as you would treat any other relationship is the most awesome part for me.

That was the best about it. Not only that it was show naturally - Bryke only seemed to have stepped in because everyone was going wild about the ambiguous-argument. They were indeed humble about it - saying it wasn't a slam-dnk victory but a great first step.

I was expecting a little nod to it, because they catered to Zutara fans in the first series with acknowledging their friendship in the finale.Β My reaction went from "this scene is totally gay

Hahaha. Well; you're not the only one who had tears at the end. And you know, I feel really proud of myself that I picked up on the hints during the season, even if I was surprised they actually went through with the pairing at the end. ( A good surprised). I wonder if they'll do more follow up to the pairing though. Like in comics for example?

I hope they do! There's probably not going to be another series, so they have more freedom with what shows up in the extra stuff now, since they aren't limited by country release.
The holding hands and stuff was undeniable to me, but some people saw that as platonic. I don't hold hands like that with anyone platonically, but I suppose some do??
