Description

This skin adds folders that can be opened and closed to your desktop. The items in the folders can open programs, folders and URLs.

The icons used are from my other project Line Icons.: www.deviantart.com/temder/art/…

To create a new folder:

- duplicate the "templateFolder.ini" file and the "variablesTemplate.inc" file

- open the duplicated folder file and change under "Variables" the path to the duplicated variable file

- open the duplicated variable file and configure the folder to your liking

To get the path to a normal program:

- right click on the shortcut of the program, click on "Properties" and copy the path that stands after "Target"

- open the duplicated variable file and change the action path to the copied path

- syntax: e1Action=["path\to\program"] (examples in all variablesExample files)

To get the path to a steam program:

- open steam, go to "LIBRARY", right click the program, go to "Manage" and click on "Add desktop shortcut"

- hover over the created shortcut to get a number and type this number with the following syntax to the action path

- syntax: e1Action=["C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe" -applaunch [number]] (examples in "variablesExample2.inc")

To get the path to any other app:

- follow this guide: forum.rainmeter.net/viewtopic.…

- type the AppUserModelID with the following syntax to the action path

- syntax: e1Action=["shell:Appsfolder\[AppUserModelID ]"] (example in "variablesExample1.inc")

To get icons for a item (program):

- search the web for pictures/icons

or

- download a program that extracts .ico files from programs (ResourcesExtract)
