Today I just needed some unprompted, out-of-the-blue Malachi shirtless action, hence this VERY quick ridiculousness. Apparently I'm digging this windswept-profile-on-textures look.
As a side note-- considering the looseness of that rope and the, um... lowness of the waistline on those pants, I'm not 100% certain how they're keeping him decent. I blame magic modesty fairies.

Aw, no worries! I appreciate all the faves too. I'm glad you're enjoying the world and the characters, but I definitely didn't come up with everything all on my own. My fiance and GM ~Arthulin deserves just as much credit for stuff like plot, concepts and creatures. I just draw the pretty people.

Malachi seems to get a lot of love. I'm glad you dig the skin tone, I'm never sure whether I've got him right since ~Arthulin keeps telling me I don't make him dark enough. He can complain when he's drawn Malachi as often as I have. XD

AAAAH THANK YOU!! I've been drawing him way too often lately, but every now and then I get on a kick with certain characters. :3

Technically he does belong to ~Arthulin conceptually, but I did all the design work for him, so even though he's Alan's character, the drawn version of him is a meld of both of ours.

Good night, his torso is loovly. Yay for fanservice, right? I really kinda love his long black nails but that might just be the goth in me coming out. I don't see why you bother putting clothes on him at all, he seems very fitting like this. It works well for the sorta demon-esque concept he has going on (and y'know, not just because he has a lovely mid-section...although that's a good reason too ).

No, I see what you mean. It's a good, fitting look for him, definitely. It's fairly notable that at this point, most pictures I've done of him (and other people's, incidentally!) have been in some stage of undress. If there's a shirt, it's usually just there to highlight that nice sliver of chest underneath. Of all my guys, he's definitely the one that's most cooperative when I take his clothes off. (Farael cooperates pretty well sometimes, but that's just because he's dutiful to his creator. )
