GOD IDK WHERE TO START-

FIRST OF ALL- Hi i worked on this for like 3 days on and off because I was thinking about the Count of Monte Cristo and also playing Mabinogi again.

SO I have a lot of lore for my mabi character through RP and such and I spent a few days a while back redesigning them cause the game gave me free design points that you normally have to pay for and I was able to get a few design coupons after selling some items. SO I transed my character's gender but the main outfit they wore for the last part I was playing is unisex so they kept that cause I really liked it.
BUT THE LORE.
Theres a lot of old lore I don't wanna get into and it spans across multiple friends, some I am no longer in contact with for reasons but that just adds to the lore. B)

The short version of the lore I'm using is adventure lore so we used to do a lot of dungeons and exploring trying to find rare items and do the hardest dungeons but some rp that I did involved royalty (that I was not apart of) and a prince and things like that. My character I just considered an everyday sort of person just having fun and enjoying life. Then she meets a prince who gets lost through some dimensional rift and demi god/ fallen angel and he teaches her that there's more to life than adventuring but she never fits into his world. She kinda sticks with it anyways cause ✨ romance ✨ then she dies in that story line by the demigod cause irl things happen and I no longer want contact with that person.
A side effect of that is I stopped playing mabi and rping all together cause of that experience.

So my character is essentially dead but I love that character SO when Mabinogi merged all the servers I used that opportunity to decide that she was never really dead but in a purgatory of sorts.

While lost in purgatory she does a lot of self reflecting and realizes that she is trans. So now he uses he/they pronouns and, using his trusty short swords, chops off his hair and keeps his name (Teminus). He continues to survive in purgatory, fighting off creatures of darkness and some form the real world that have also slipped as alternate worlds (servers) begin to collapse into one another. During this time they also have time to reflect that a lot of their "alive years" were sapped away from the demigod and how that relationship tore him away from their friends who they genuinely loved and missed. So this caused bitterness to start to fester and boil in them. As the final merge was happening, he was fighting one of these creatures of darkness which caused the scar on their face and the tumble mixed some other stuff up and also changed their right eye from blue to green (both eyes used to be blue). So after the final worlds combine, they find themself in they last place they were, tired but alive.

And so they wanna enjoy their life again now, reuniting with old friends and making new ones, but that bitterness emerges every now and then. And since I've been watching/reading a lot of the Count of Monte Cristo I made this more of a calm bitterness that the Count normally displays cause I was feeling emo. And since I can't draw people it's my fursona. uwu

If you're curious this is what my in game character looks like thats why I made the fur more disheveled in some places. PICTURE

Is this perfect? No way
Am I proud? HECK YEA!!! This is my first time getting this far doing anything like this and actually finishing it. So I'm so happy with how it turned out cause I finished it!

I wanna get better with my color compositions so I think trying more stuff like this would be good for me. I'm honestly just gonna start drawing backgrounds cause I need the practice.
