Description
Commission for , featuring a random set of characters! A deer, a wolf and an otter from left-to-right, cooking up some lunch after a full morning of exploring one of several large moons orbiting a super-Earth. The commissioner wasn't sure what he wanted, except that he enjoyed sci-fi stuff, so I had the idea to create a mundane scene in an exotic, exoplanet environment. A normal, relatable activity you don't typically see in this kind of art!This is the biggest commission I've done so far - it took me nearly 4 days to finish! If you're wondering why I haven't posted much the last week, this is primarily why.
But it was a good challenge to work on! I learned a lot from it that I can carry on into future pieces, and learned I could do some things I didn't know that I could.

This looks like such a neat idea. The texture and level of detail look like I should take it seriously, but the big eyes and approachable shapes bely the sense of fun. I wish this a piece of concept art to a bigger film, game, comic book or something.

Great to see such stuff from you! Probably, you could have added a bit more light from the firework on their armor to make the feeling more cheerful and to add some universal color to their costumes which are otherwise greyish a bit, but nonethelless hope to see some things like that in future from you, escpecially if you try to do them just for yourself
