Description
Drawing Ferahgo was suggested to me by a friend. Since he was another character from a book I hadn't read yet (like Ublaz was), I did my best with a Redwall wiki article and visual references. I've been told I got Ublaz right with that strategy, so hopefully I managed to do it again this time!

Tomorrow I'll be posting a well-known badger character, and a well-known rat character. Feel free to try to guess who they will be!

Although, you wanna know something funny? In the book, Ferahgo is described as wearing a kilt of skins and crossbelts, but it never mentions that he wears a shirt. And yet several drawings of him depict him with a yellow shirt (no doubt because his son Klitch wore a yellow tunic). Weird, huh?

But anyway, this representaion of Ferahgo is perfect! I can't find a thing wrong with it!

Good point. For some reason(don't know why) but my headcannon is that they were close when Klitch was young and still had a mum. Somehow Klitch's mum/Ferahgo's wife was killed and they blame each other for her death.

Huh, that is interesting! I had no idea they left that detail out in the book. Makes me wonder if the artist for the book took some artistic liberties for him.

Yeah, it probably was artistic license... although the artist for the American book cover didn't put Ferahgo in a yellow shirt.

Looking pretty cool - one thing I'd say for the picture, of course... Ferahgo was known for his handsome features, blue eyes and deadly cold Slasher Smile .
He's probably one of my favourite villains from the series, because aside from being a fresh kind of villain who wasn't ugly and violently aggressive like the majority... he was also quite sane and not given to dreams about being chased to his death by the hero (also unlike the majority)

Ahhh, I didn't know he was considered handsome like Ublaz. And some of that other information is new to me like not giving into the dreams. I always thought those were a bit silly. I'll have to draw him again sometime with a new angle.

Well, his most notable features were that he was rather good looking, with blue eyes... like ice. And a Slasher Smile as cold as winter frost. In fact, the bigger his smile, the worse deep doo-doo you were in!
