There's few better feelings than being outside after a fresh snowfall and seeing how much the world transformed while you looked away. Itβs always so quiet, and all you can hear is the breeze. <3I had to develop winter clothes for Tem here and I like the result, although I might do an image with three or four options. I imagined him, along with other things, wearing an alternate tunic that has pockets in the front like a hoodie to keep his hands warm.
This was made using SAI's digital markers again.

Realistically it should yeah, you're right. The reason I went for this more stylized approach was because I saw an image that made the snow like this, and it inspired me to make this in the first place. Sadly I can't seem to find it again.

Fun fact, snow does block out noises when falling, thus it is actually quiter. Also, that winter outfit looks pretty neat weith the scarf and more clothing that also apears more suitable for the weather.

Yeah - believe it or not, I read that fact the day before I made this, and that's what inspired me to make this in the first place. x) It brought up a lot of memories.

As an Australian, I've only ever experienced fresh snow about twice, the first time being on a school trip to Mount Baw Baw, which is the closest proper alpine resort from Melbourne! So somehow, I do get what you've done here!

I love the snow and we usually about a week or less here. It's usually just a few inches but it's enough that the slush at the end of the week will keep everyone home. Yes Texans can't handle driving in SLUSH but have no fears when there is actual ice.

I don't blame you guys for not being able to drive in winter conditions, it's just not something you're used to, and neither is your infrastructure or car tires. Here we're prepared for it so it makes things a lot easier.

No one here knows how to drive in rain. I'm not Texan by birth, I'm from California, and I've been to the mountains when they are covered in snow so I know enough about driving in snow. Sadly the desert states were better prepared for snow last Christmas than Texas was and they're not exactly made to handle snow and ice.

I love this and I love this feeling. My favorite experiences were growing up in my half-isolated house in the Blue Ridge Mountains and waking up to everything covered in snow and motionless (unless the sassy cardinals inevitably showed up, but hey).

That sounds really nice! I managed to stay at my grandparent's farm in Minnesota when I was younger during the winter, which was also half-isolated. I still remember how quiet everything was, compared to the city now.
