I was home sick today, so I figured I'd finish up this drawing that I've been working on for a few days. The scanner totally killed it.
It looks so much better in real life.About four hours of work. I hope you all like it!

Yeah, I wonder if there are any scanners out there purposely built to scan graphite artwork. Or any traditional medium for that matter.

None specifically that I know of, but there are some that have settings that can allow for proper pencil or otherwise traditional art scans. I've seen some good ones; don't have one. I spent several hours on my latest traditional work, and my scanner butchered the shading. Now it looks flat and uninteresting.

Mine has a few settings you can adjust. But I haven't figured it out quite yet. Will probably have to be a cross between Photoshop adjustments and scanner adjustments.

This looks good! It looks accurate compared to the reference picture, and I like how you did the fur details. I think the ear could do with a bit more shading around the edge to define it more and separate the actual ear from the furry bit inside, though.

Scanners are good at doing that. Beyond the technical difficulties it still looks like a great piece of work. Nice attention to detail and proportions are dead on. Another great caliber of work that I have come to expect from you.
