Prize for 2nd place in my contest, for .I love how this turned out. Wasn't quite sure what environment to put Link in, but I looked at your gallery, Gear, and tried to think of something you'd like.
Wanted to do a drawing with some sort of perspective to it. Very minor, but I think it adds something. Sorry for any in-accuracies in the clothing, or anywhere else for that matter.
I paid very close attention to details, didn't rush anything, and tried out some blending modes. Some worked, some didn't. But overall, I think this is one of my best drawings to date.

you definatly seem to have a good idea on how to do backgrounds, and if the angle im guessing i correct then its a good angle of looking almost up at the subject. if not i would say that the hands seem a little small and the feet a little large

It was meant to be perspective. In the reference sheet I used for this character, the feet are actually somewhat small. I still do think I oversized them a bit.

When you first showed me this I was thinking back to a journal you posted. It was a note saying how much you liked a particular piece of digital art and that you thought you'd never achieve something like it. That image is what came to me when I saw this. If you're capable of creating this blend of digital art then for sure you can do even more. Like I said, it really comes down to having the right tools. I'm so happy to see you diving deeper into the digital realm, I think you have a real eye for it! Outstanding hon!!

nonsense, never play your own art down... try to create a unique character by not creating a piece of art then naming them... build them in your mind then start the artwork... The shading is excellent and I love the atmosphere. And the bracers are cute. ^^
My one note is that the hands could stand to be a little bigger, in proportion to the head and feet, & the neck is just a hair to wide....
Other than that, very nice!! The realism on the pants is so awesome, it makes me smile.
