(probably will scrap later)I got some Micron pens today (0.5 and 0.35) and wanted to try them out. So I did a sketch of a few friend's characters including mine, and did an outline of them. In the future, I'll be doing sketch requests, so if you aren't in this, look out for a future journal.
In my opinion, Vincent turned out the best, and as for the hardest, Czyrek. xP
Feel free to comment or critique, but remember, I didn't spend a ton of time on this! Probably 10-15 minutes each.

Hehe. x3 Actually it isn't too hard. I did a basic sketch, outlined in the pen, and erased the pencil. Basically it's just outlining. I sure as hell didn't do it all from scratch. xD

Thanks! I was actually wondering that. I would have done a better job, but the only image you have done of them was sort of small. Was sort of hard to see details on the face. But glad you like it!

Actually I take that back. I was on a much smaller screen before. Now I'm on an 19" one and the image is great.

Hey, it's funnier to draw with soft and normal pens from scratch, it's harder to do it entirely well, but you learn to take care from mistakes.

where did you find a 0.20 micropen?
I can get the same size for my calligraphy pen, but I don't have the flow control that I can have with a micropen. So finding a 0.20 pen would be nifty.

Well I found it at this place called Artist Emporium, but I don't think it is a chain of stores if you are hoping to find one near you.

hey! they look very good, you do a very good work here. my micropen is 0.5, i never see one 0.35 yet

When I was at the store, there were 8 sizes I think, ranging from 0.20 to 0.50. I want to get 0.20 just to get as fine as possible for those smaller details. You'd be surprised how different a 0.20 and 0.35 is.
