Description
Complete title of this series: Never forgive me , never forget me.So as some of you might now I hate this day and this time I tried to do something similar to my previous approach to the subject, but this time with a small serie.
I got this lamb's heart and sliced it in 4 parts then "stitched" it with screws, wires and 150 pins, I froze it for 2 days and then I removed all the excess of ice with a scalpel I drilled through it and hanged it from a chain.
This is the first phase of 3.
Links to the rest of the serie:
The second phase
The third phase
Used my 550ex, 430ex and a little bit of photoshop.
Hope you like it
Happy valentines!

the first thing that struck me when I looked at this was abortion. it's strange, seeing as I'm pro-choice, but there you go. this is so creative. where on earth do your ideas come from?

Now that's an interesting thing, why did it reminded you of the Moon?

SanjArt In reply to temoc [2006-11-28 13:24:35 +0000 UTC]
well,
perhaps because of its shape (similar to the Moon's),
the crates,
the balance between light and darkness...
... the chain?

Eeeeewwww.... lamb's heart!?
*shudders*
Your work is great though, I loved the idea of the screws and nails all around the heart - but sewing back the pieces...
Ugh... I think I'm gonna barf. You really must have a strong stomach to do this piece eh?

Yeah, it feels kinda weird when doing it, but it was good, its filled with personal experiences like the screws
