Let Her Know How Weird Your Curio Is.
Tula has a very niche interest (experimental archaeology, but even niche-r: fashion history! she makes replicas of fashion artifacts for fun) and has struggled with the idea that maybe there isn't a place for it beyond a hobby - but it means she's VERY pro-niche-topic. If you have some obscure interest that you're passionate about, she wants to hear about it. If you're going to rag on someone's interests because they're 'weird' or whatever, she's not here for it and you will be kicked out until you can Behave.
Tula can be a bit much.
She's otherwise quite reserved - not because she's shy, but because she needs the right motivation. She could be sewing right now instead of having small talk with you about the weather. Unless you're very excited about the meteorological implications of the recent weather, then PLEASE tell her, she has absolutely no idea what you're talking about and she Wants To.
Gentle and kind, but blunt. She's also really not insecure honestly. She went through that and came out the other side thinking 'that wasn't fun actually' and refuses to bully herself. Extremely complimentary to others because of it - hands out casual compliments like they're candy, without thinking, while also being entirely sincere about every single one.
Not ambitious in the slightest (character trait or character flaw? yes), but whether or not it's due to her not being interested in doing a job that isn't her One Interest and her One Interest being something risky and over saturated in the job market - well. She's resigned herself to never amounting to much.

History:
Grew up in Seajewel in an average family. She's on ok terms with her parents and siblings. Her favorite family member, though, was her maternal grandmother, who lived in the same house, and whose family originated from Dula Dula. She loved hearing about life there, even if to her the life of the leading Hunter Guild sounded a bit dangerous for her taste. When her grandmother died when she was in her early teens, Tula inherited her wardrobe full of hand me downs from even further ancestors, and thus sparked her interest in the history of the clothing that had survived so many hands. They're, to this day, her most prized possessions and her inspiration for her work.
