Update - May 29, 2019:Β I just wanted to say that a YouTuber I follow named Qaaman used this picture for at the end of a video he did on Future Gohan some years back. I like Future Trunks a lot more than I like Buu Saga Gohan.
In fact, I hate Buu Saga Gohan. Something about the Majin Buu saga is that, while it did further and finalise Vegeta's development as a heroic character, it also completely butt-fucked some other characters.
Can you honestly say you prefer Kid Trunks over Future Trunks?
Or that you prefer Adult Gohan over Teen Gohan?

While I do hate Adult Gohan, the only character I hate more than him is Kid Trunks. At least Gohan became Mystic. Trunks, on the other hand, didn't.
You could say that I respect Future Gohan more, because although he's nowhere near as strong as Mystic Gohan, he takes it upon himself to constantly battle the Androids in a fight he knows he ultimately cannot win.
Future Trunks died to save the ones he loved, because he knew that if anyone could save them, it was Trunks.

I wouldn't. See unlike present day Gohan, Future Gohan couldn't study for most of his life. He had to risk his own life saving the world from the Androids. If anything, it should be more than present Mystic Gohan.

Heres the thing though. Teen Gohan got to train with Goku in the time chamber and achieved SSJ1 AND SSJ2 in a single year because of it while Future Gohan had to get SSJ1 on his own. Present Gohan is the strongest unfused character in Z due to being able to access SSJ3 levels of power without any of the drain the SSJ forms present. Future Gohan was killed by the two androids plus his only real training partner was a young Future Trunks who couldent even give Gohan a real workout. So yeah, at max id say Mystic Future Gohan is equal to SSJ2 Teen Gohan.

Yeah, but here's the thing, Gohan had spent time in the Other World haunted by 18 and kept fighting her. He then snapped out of it, trained with Old Kai to attain this form, and ta-da! Also, theory has it that before most Z-Fighters dies, Teen Gohan of the future trained in the Time Chamber with Vegeta and attained this form. How do I know? Twin Pain is the name of the story. It's on DBZ Multiverse site.

You do realize that the Shin Budokai games are non canon right? That and they werent really well written and came off as a real big fanfiction. Theory's cant be taken into account unless proven true and we never hear of Future Gohan ever using the time chamber in his timeline so it cant be said that he did. Plus, Mutiverse isnt canon either so it can be used as reference material as well.

Dont worry about it. Mystic Future Gohan COULD rise above normal Mystic Gohan in time. All the Mystic form does is give Gohan all his SSJ power in base form. Meaning he could use SSJ3 levels of power but without the stress and drain Goku had. So if Future Gohan kept training he could eventually become stronger.

No mystic doesn't do that it unlocks all his untapped potential so with gohan always having his potential he would be stronger/better then present time if his potential is the same.

I thought about including the Mystic state in my OC project, Dragon Ball Saiyan Wars but decided not to mainly cause SSJ4 is still more or less stronger and I love the design, not to mention im including my own design of SSJ5 [link] and my own form, SSJ6 [link] . This whole Super Saiyan God form though thats gonna appear in the Battle of Gods movie seems to throw everything out of whack for the time being.

Battle of Gods has already been declared part of the official DBZ timeline and therefore canon so whatever happens in this movie is as official as the stuff in the manga. I did like GT as well despite its poor writing and inconsistent character strengths If SSJG is infact a transformation, id much rather it be a gold hair and fur version of SSJ4.

And my guess is that Goku, the Super Saiyan God shall be using this form for the battle against Bills only. I'm pleased.

Could be a new form or a power up, nobody knows at the time. All thats been shown is Goku surrounded in blue aura and a normal Oozaru roaring. The oozaru is similar to the SSJ3 form but well see soon enough.
