"To the End of the Journey of Glittering Stars" - Baten Kaitos Soundtrack(Listen to it here: [link] )
An entry for the contest over at . The theme was "Choose your favorite Baten Kaitos music piece and draw a picture to match it." A daunting task, all the music is so wonderful! I pushed my skills on this thing.
Baten Kaitos is an awesome game, period. Unique style, stunning visuals, and a cast you get attached to and care about... I could keep going. On top of everything else, the music is absolutely incredible and really inspiring.
I really wanted to create a piece that captured part of the game's essence, and did a little better than my last attempt.
Kalas and Xelha sit and look out at the stars, finally getting a chance to rest after an epic and trying journey to restore the world. After everything these two went through, they really did deserve a happy ending.

I almost didn't do that song because it's so wonderful! My art doesn't evoke tears of emotion like the music can. @.@
