im glad piebaldism has been introduced into the stock. But i doubt it will bring any ill effects to the breed because it can be harmlessly found in nearly any species including us humans my, sister even has it. the only issue will probably be that owners will need to regularly apply sunscreen on affected areas around ears, eyes, nose and mouth because like partial/dom white the affected areas cannot produce and regulate its own melanin

see! taking biology for a HSC major wasnt to bad!!!

i've been hearing a few cautious "uh.. but what if"s, maybe when my true black male Alkina is accepted and processed ill work towards breeding a black piebald just to blow any speculations out of the water.
Nothing ventured nothing gained.

when the cat is nPbd, how much can it cover the cat?
As I have a design in mind for mine, yet it would be based on a vanner cat, translated, just tail and ears are left uncolored.

I thought the thing was:  NO HORSE LIKE MUTATIONS OR PIEBALDS.
What made you change your mind?!?!

It is not changing a mind - that is just development. Old coloursheet is really old. At that time there were no cats, capable of producing such offspring)
And as colorsheet was the guide for creating shedus backthen - it was pretty much true to story - there were no cats with such markings)

Ah, I was just pretty curious you see.
I am truly aware of some of the shedu coats being not as familiarly close to the breed sheet design.
I am glad there is more improvement in our shedu society, as long as it doesn't develop some,
crazy unrealistic ideas.
I am sure it won't, you are doing are amazing job with such a big group

There is only one not so realistic thing - confession - but it is rare and easy to avoid
And thank you!

Let's put a blind eye on that one
Also, congratulations on the Arabian shedu, now thats a thing.
Also, is there going to be a female arabian shedu?
I mean, will there be purebred arabian shedus being able to be owned or only crosses with him?

He is not open for breedings You need to breed your own arab from asians and classies - you can then breed arabs together and sop on

Ooooh, that makes a lot of sense.
God, it will make a lot of process to get one though.
And Also to not inbred your asians to get one.
I am sure people will be eager to get one.
I never actually though there will be a skinnier one than the basic body type.

SenoSesa In reply to Templado [2014-07-08 19:18:47 +0000 UTC]

So true.
One thing, when you created shedus, which big cat would you say, was the most familiar with a shedu?
Like a cheetah or a lion?
Just wondering, as the Arabian reminds me of a serval or caracal, rather than any of the shedus.

Cheetah was the icon.
Yet not for asians. They look like smaller cats. And their phenotype is main for  arabians
