This particular Templar is something of a legend among the remaining knights of the new order (comprised of the knights and personnel who survived the official disbanding of the original Templar Order.)

There are a great number of bizarre rumors concerning his history. The most outlandish of them being claims of written references to him going back as far as the 3rd Crusade.

Nonetheless, the most prominent of these rumors is that he has killed one of every type of unnatural being. To include what have been described as "monsters from beneath heaven.*" It is also said the monsters left behind several strange artifacts that he carries in a black case wherever he goes.

What is not a rumor; however, is that this knight has never failed in any task assigned to him. And no one has ever witnessed his defeat in battle.

For these reasons he is considered a specialist and is often tasked with inquisitions without the aid of a team, squire, or similar servant/helper.
