And now Pinkie will need one of Rarity's dresses for a week or so, until her fur grows back.

What was the assignment? I took physics last year and want to see how awesomely you did by making such a picture. Please tell us of your professors reaction or, better yet, take a pic of you presenting it or your teacher holding it!

I'm not sure it's a good idea for Twilight to have chosen Pinkie of all ponies to do a physics experiment since she seems to defy physics often. :3

will make for the most unique experiments :U
besides, quantum physics defies reality as we know it already : P

Ugh, I hated this experiment in physics class (no I did not do well). My mind couldn't accept this as reality, although the Galileo Air Hammer and feather experiment was pretty cool.

I could tell you a lot of things that could blow your mind, and make you question reality
Like the bows Einstein for example.
or how light is both a wave, and a particle c:

Westfallen In reply to Template93 [2013-09-17 04:44:25 +0000 UTC]
Ooo, Bows Einstein...I remember watching a documentary on that. If memory serves correctly, it can be achieved at an EXACT temperature just above absolute zero. They got to that temp by the use of a boiling method (when a molecule becomes over excited and flies out of the "pot" it takes its energy plus a little more out of the mixture).
I honestly haven't heard anything beyond that but there was a huge buzz about the Bows Einstein thing for a while.

Template93 In reply to Westfallen [2013-09-17 19:33:41 +0000 UTC]
the boiling method was an older attempt at reaching colder temps. we use other tech to get colder then what was made back then. bows Einstein is reached near absolute zero. bows Einstein, is a 5th element of matter. also, we can, will never be able to reach absolute zero. it would take an infinite amount of time to reach it, as in order to remove all bits of energy (AKA, heat transfer). we can get close, but not at the mark.

It was seriously odd to look at (they took one picture of it during the documentary ) and it is neat and all; however I wonder at the possibilities of putting it to more practical uses. Or is this in the same category as Black Holes, whereby we know that they can exist because math says so?

we can see a bows Einstein. it can slow light down to bicycle speed.

I had to do this in 10th grade. Except mine involved a Ferris Wheel, a moving cart, and a person who had to jump into the cart from the wheel. Yeah, by the end of the assignment, the final trigonometry was so simple...
If I didn't forget everything from my 11th grade physics class, I'd probably be able to do all the proofing here in the comments. Although, I have flash cards around my room somewhere with millions (only about 40) of different equations and formulas from my physics class. Was so fun.
